Kapon or neutering your pets is the single most cost effective way of preventing unwanted puppies and kittens. This little one was merely days old and was rescued the morning after a thunderstorm. Unfortunately, the kitten did not survive as she should still be with her Mama Cat.

Kato, our XL Chihuahua Patient, would like to remind all fur parents if have they had their fur babies vaccinations and deworming updated for this year, because he came to visit us to update his vaccinations and deworming.

Also he lost some weight. Which is a progress for him, too!

Anti-Rabies and DHL4PPi (8in1) Vaccinations should and must be updated every year; deworming for dogs is every 3 months, cats should be done monthly especially those who are exposed outdoors.

For the month of June, we have neutered two (2) queens/female cats and 3 toms/male cats. One of the two queens, had to undergo Spay-Abort as she was, unbeknownst to the owner, was already a couple of weeks pregnant.

Neutering your pets has more benefits. Neutering prevents the following:
a. Unwanted Pregnancies
b. Pyometra
c. Cancer (Mammarian, Testicular, Prostate)
d. Spread of Diseases such as Rabies

What haffen, Toothless?
FLUTD, right?

FLUTD or Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease is a common problem amongst male cats.

Toothless here had been straining to p*e (Naglisod og pangihi.) in the past three days. We managed to unblock him and had the catheter for a couple of days until he managed to remove it.

We checked his urine samples and it turned out he has Urinary Tract Infection and struvites. He is on antibiotics for a couple of weeks and is on prescription diet to manage his struvites.

FLUTD is quite common in male cats due to their unique anatomy.

If you have noticed your cats have difficulty in p*eing, rush them to your nearest vet.

Daenarys was here to update her Anti-rabies and DHL4PPi (8in1) Vaccinations for this year. She also had her deworming, as well.

You can name your pets after your favorite fictional characters for us vets and vet staff to easily remember. Daeny's name was derived from a popular character from George R. R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice book series, which was adapted into a TV Series, Game of Thrones.
