Lower Busay Hiking @ Transcentral Highway Cebu City

You can hike here. We started the hike at 5:30am and arrived at Gaslamp at 7:30am. Just make sure to finish your hike before 7:30-8am because the sun is up by then. You do not want your dog to overheat. Also make sure to get plenty of rest breaks and water breaks for your furbabies.

Please, please, please make sure your pets are fit enough for this hike. Please, please, please be extremely mindful of your dog's condition while doing the hike to avoid heat stroke. If you notice them having a hard time already, pls stop the hike and ride a jeep back or pa rescue sa friends 😆

Gaslamp District Busay @ Transcentral Highway Cebu City

You can easily find them in google maps. We went there at 7:30am to have breakfast. Gaslamp is also a famous stopover for busay cyclists and hikers. There are various food and drink stalls there. They have a huge parking area with no parking fee! 👍🏻

They are open everyday, 6am-11pm.

The Boundary Café & Restaurant at Barangay Polo, Alcantara, Cebu

The place looks great and welcoming. Very peaceful when we got there. The staff were also really nice and friendly towards us and especially to Pawlo 🙂 They have a designated dining area for customers who have pets. There is also a small road at the back of the restaurant where I took my furbaby to walk a bit and wiwi. You can find the door to the small road just behind the swing.

The food was yummy and affordable. They serve Filipino food. At first we thought we over-ordered and we wouldn't be able to finish it all. But lo and behold, the food was so yummy, we ended up eating it all haha 😄 We tried their fried kangkong, tinolang manok, pork sisig, and calamansi juice. Their plain rice is also unli.

They're open everyday, 10am-10pm. Their parking spots are located in front of the restaurant.

Definitely recommend when you're going on a roadtrip sa Cebu South 👌

Bananas & Dreams @ Wilson St, Lahug, Cebu City (street in front of JY Square Mall)

Their staff were really friendly and accomodating. They were even the ones to tell us that we can let our furbabies Pawlo and Boots off leash! 😄

As for the food, *chef's kiss* ❤️! We tried their kangkong pesto pasta, nachos, and coffee banana cake and all 3 were delicious!!! We'll definitely go back there to try more of their menu. Especially the nachos, I'll def go back there for the nachos 😋 and the banana cakes. I'll have to taste the diff varieties of banana cakes.

They're open Wed-Mon, 11am-9pm. Closed on Tue.
They have parking directly in front of their cafe.

Overall, a very yummy experience for us humans and a very nice laaganan for the furbabies! 👍🏻 Definitely recommend.

Osmeña Peak @ Dalaguete, Cebu

You can search "Osmena Peak Hiking (Trail Head)" in google map to find the starting point. Entrance fee is Php50/head and a guide (Php100) is required per group.

Storytime, fee per guide is P100 but we forgot that we haven't paid yet. So we gave the guide a "tip" of P100. We thought it was our tip to him but we actually did not pay him his fee of P100. So in short, we didn't actually give him a tip!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 We're so sorry kuya Joy To The World!!! 😭😭😭😭 If somebody knows him, maybe I could gcash him the P100 tip + interest nalang. 😭😭😭

Overall, great experience for us. It was only a 15-20 min trek going up. Easy for beginners. We even saw small kids who reached the top. Kuya Joy (guide) was very accomodating and very friendly towards our furbaby Pawlo. He even took this video footage of us. View was also amazing up at the top. I'll post pictures in a while.

Bowlud Coffee House @ Sitio Campo, Carcar City, Cebu

Food and drinks there are quite unique and very delicious. Definitely a must try when you're going on a Cebu South road trip. We will surely go back there everytime we pass by until we finish trying all food from their menu! 😄 This is also the perfect pit stop for buying Carcar delicacies since there's a store beside them selling yummy chicharons, ampaos, etc.

You can locate them easily using google maps. They're just by the road. Keep your eyes peeled for the orange building. They're open Mon-Thu 10am-6pm, Fri-Sun 7am-7pm. Lots of parking directly in front of the cafè.

Il corso

Everbody from Cebu knows where Il Corso is 😀 There are lots of food stalls to choose from. We tried the ramen there and it was delicious!

Paraiso Tropicale - Beach Cabin @ Oslob, Cebu

For every booking, you can have the ENTIRE place for yourself. There's the 2-storey main cabana which can house 4 pax, the 2-storey seaside cabana which can house 6 pax, a kitchen, and a private beach (there's also a 3rd cabana but I dunno how many can stay there. I didn't ask since it was just me, my hubby, and my furbaby).

This place is really private and very peaceful. No neighbors whatsoever. This place is also great for barkada getaways.

Check in is at 2 pm and checkout is at 12 pm. You bring all your food and drinks since there's a kitchen where you can do your cooking. Basic kitchen utensils are already provided as well as a stove, fridge, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, etc. No corkage fees. A paddle board and snorkel gear is also available for rent.

PS: there are 3 resident doggies. DO NOT FEED THEM BONES!

They serve unli chicken + pasta or unli chicken + pizza for only Php199/person, drinks not included.
They're open from 10am to 10pm. Food is definitly worth it for the price.
Parking lots are available outside.

MORTYBAKES @ Carcar, Cebu (along carcar-barili road, in front of Palms Bldg)

If you're going on a roadtrip down south, you should definitely eat here. They're open daily, 10am-8pm. Their food is delicious and soooo worth the price. We even ate there twice! 😁🐕 We tried the lasagna, carbonara, carrot cake, and the cucumber juice on Sunday. Then we tried the hawaiian burger, triple cheese burger⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, chips⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, iced coffee, and mango smoothie on Monday. All are definitely ✨yum✨!

There are parking spots directly in front of the store.
