Our beloved Nona crossed the bridge last night. She took her last breath full of love by her meowdads and younger siblings. She lived six years full of hugs, belly rubs, delicious cat treats, and countless cat houses. Nona was our first ever rescued cat. She was there way back when we had nothing. She was our lucky charm. She is our spicy mermaid cat, that walks like a seal due to her inborn lower spine injury. She hates dressing up but loves games involving shadows made by human hands.

Nona changed us in ways we cannot fathom. She saved us when we didn't love ourselves. She has been a good child to us. She was the best cat in the world.

Thank you Nona for everything. We miss you already. See you soon baby. We love you kaayu.

❤️ I’m excited to share a story of rescue and redemption.

On my way driving home, I almost ran over a tiny kitten. Feeling the need to help, I brought her home, cleaned her up, and made her comfortable. Sadly, she was temporarily blinded by a severe flu and needed eye treatment.

But today, my heart is full of joy as I announce her successful adoption! This little fighter has found a loving forever home with six new furry siblings.

Thank you for being such a gentle soul during your time with me. You’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Miss you already!
