🐶 Cherry Eye in Dogs: Why We Don’t Just Remove It?
Some dogs develop a red, swollen gland in the corner of the eye called a cherry eye. While it might seem easy to just remove it, complete removal can cause a serious condition called dry eye (KCS) later on. KCS happens when the eye doesn’t make enough tears, leading to discomfort, infections, and vision problems.
At Psalms Paws Veterinary Services, we use the Morgan Pocket Technique to repair and reposition the gland instead of removing it. This keeps your dog’s eye healthy and reduces the risk of dry eye.

His furparents traveled all the way from QC after being turned away by different grooming centers due to his severe anxiety and aggression.
