Vet Case: Feline Panleukopenia (FPV)
Meet Pit, a resilient cat who came to Petlink showing signs of bleeding gums, later confirmed to be a case of Feline Panleukopenia (FPV) — a highly contagious and potentially fatal viral disease in cats.

FPV can present with symptoms such as:
🔸 Lethargy
🔸 Loss of appetite
🔸 Vomiting and diarrhea
🔸 Fever
🔸 Dehydration
🔸 Pale or bleeding gums

Thanks to early diagnosis, intensive treatment, and the dedication of his loving owner, Pit made a full recovery and was safely discharged.

Recognize these COMMON SIGNS OF PARVOVIRUS:

Lethargy (Panghihina)
Loss of Appetite (Pagkawala ng gana kumain)
Vomiting (Pagsusuka)
Bloody Diarrhea (Pagtatae na may kasamang dugô)
Abdominal pain and bloating (Pagsakit at paglobo ng tiyan)
Fever or low body temperature (Nilalagnat o mababang temperatura)

Morgan came to Petlink showing signs of discomfort and difficulty with urination. Upon initial assessment, we performed an ultrasound, which revealed the presence of sand-like particles in the bladder — a sign of urinary tract issues that can lead to more serious complications if left untreated.

Urinary Catheter was inserted but during the procedure, our team also noted that Morgan’s abdomen was unusually firm. This prompted us to perform a abdominal x-ray, Result shows that morgan also has a mega colon, An e***a was performed to manually extract impacted f***s, helping to relieve his discomfort.

Following the procedure, Morgan was prescribed a high-fiber diet and laxatives to aid in smoother bowel movements and prevent recurrence.

This case is a reminder of how important it is to watch for any changes in your cat’s litter box behavior — especially signs like straining, crying, or avoiding the box altogether. Early veterinary intervention can make all the difference in your pet’s comfort and recovery. 💙🐱
