This photo of a man & his best friend touched many hearts worldwide 🤍

It shows John Unger and his 19 year old shepherd mix named Schoep. When John learned that his dog had severe arthritis and may need to be put down, he was devastated – and also determined to help alleviate Schoep‘s pain.

Recognizing the benefits of water therapy for arthritis, he brought Schoep to one of their favorite spots: Lake Superior 🥺
