🚨 Rescue Story: Giving Stray Cats a Second Chance 🐾❤️

AHSA has welcomed a new rescued stray cat into our care! It all started when the husband of one of our UPLINK employees spotted a helpless cat trapped inside a sack on the street. As he stopped to check, he noticed another stray cat wandering nearby, vulnerable and in need of help.

Without hesitation, Ms. Rose Lanot, UPLINK's Senior HR staff, reached out to AHSA for assistance. Thanks to their kindness and quick action, these poor cats now have a chance at a better life.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in this rescue! Let's continue spreading love and compassion for our furry friends. 🐱💙

🐾 Sedi’s Update: A Story of Hope and Healing 🐾

Sedi’s Rescue & Recovery Under AHSA

RJ Tablico, a dedicated company driver from UPLINK’s Warehouse and Logistics Department, discovered Sedi in a heartbreaking condition. Sedi was suffering from a severe tick infestation and possible liver disease, leaving him weak and vulnerable. Sadly, his owner was unable to provide the medical care he needed. Determined to give Sedi a second chance at life, RJ reached out to AHSA for help.

Sedi’s recovery journey has been truly inspiring. When he was rescued, his condition was critical. The severe tick infestation and liver problems had weakened him to the point where he required an emergency blood transfusion to survive. Without proper medical attention, Sedi’s chances of recovery were slim.

Fortunately, AHSA quickly stepped in, providing medication, treatment, and round-the-clock care. Surrounded by love and comfort, Sedi healed both physically and emotionally.

Today, Sedi is thriving with renewed strength, a shiny coat, and a playful spirit. His recovery reflects the power of compassion and proper care, giving him a bright future thanks to AHSA’s support.

🐾 Casper’s Update: A Story of Hope and Healing 🐾

Casper's Update

Casper’s story is one of hope and resilience. He was a stray cat wandering near UPLINK when Sir Jay Paolo Sumaya, a company driver - Warehouse and Logistics Department first noticed him. Concerned about Casper’s condition, a kind UPLINK neighbor took him in to provide food and shelter. However, as Casper’s health continued to decline, her kasambahay made the difficult decision to surrender him to AHSA on February 18, 2025. Just a few days later, on February 22, 2025, Casper finally received the medical attention he urgently needed.

When AHSA rescued Casper, he was in a fragile and painful state. He had a large open wound on his face and was suffering from a severe ear mite infestation. The discomfort and pain he was experiencing required immediate and specialized care to prevent further complications.

Fortunately, AHSA quickly stepped in to provide the care and support Casper desperately needed. He was given proper medication and treatment, and his open wound was treated with laser therapy to promote faster healing. The ear mite infestation was also carefully addressed with the right medication, helping him feel more comfortable and at ease.

Today, Casper is doing remarkably well. His wound has healed beautifully, and his ears are now healthy and free from infection. He looks stronger and more vibrant, and his playful personality is starting to shine through. Thanks to AHSA’s dedicated care and support, Casper has made an incredible recovery and now has a second chance at a happy and healthy life.
