Feeding a Newborn Kitten the Right Way.

When feeding a newborn kitten, position matters more than you think. The way you hold them can mean the difference between safe feeding and a serious choking risk.

✅ Safe Position:
Always keep the kitten tummy down and supported, just like they would nurse from their mother. This natural position helps milk flow safely and reduces the risk of aspiration.

❌ Unsafe Positions to Avoid:
On their back – Milk can easily enter the lungs.
Dangling upright – The kitten lacks proper support and control.
Head tilted back – Increases the risk of choking or aspiration.

Feed slowly, keep the kitten warm, and let them suckle naturally instead of squeezing the bottle too hard. Tiny kittens need big care. The right position can protect their lungs, support healthy feeding, and help them grow strong. 🐾💛
