It is important to provide your Betta fish with some cover from above to protect from extreme heat of the sun, as well as from predators. A good floating plants are water lettuce. They are very easy to grow and multiply with the right amount of sunlight. You don't want to cover more than about 1/5 of the water surface, as the water does need to be oxygenated.
BTW, after jarring the 3rd batch of our Super Red, there is still much left to be done. 😅

Our culture of live foods for our betta fish 🪱🪱🪱. Grindal worms are great transitional live foods for betta fry that require a lot of baby brine shrimp to get full. It contains 70% protein and 14% fat which makes them valuable addition to our betta fry diet. It is also good for conditioning adults and breeders.
