Quality vs Quantity

It's better to limit the number of chicks on a clutch. This can be done by disposing some eggs or by transferring the eggs to the nest box of other hens.

Chicks GROW FASTER and mortality rate is very LOW. 🦜👌

This also lessens the stress of the breeding pair from feeding too many young.
