In line with Easyvet’s commitment to promoting public health among every residents and furparents of our community, we are honored to have been invited by the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center - Public Health Unit (BGHMC) to collaborate and serve as one of the guest speakers on Poweradio’s "Doctor’s Hour," a local radio program in Balanga City, last April 10, 2025.

The segment also featured esteemed medical doctors of BGHMC specializing in animal bite management, snakebite toxicology, and related fields. Topics discussed include prevalent diseases during summer such as rabies in animals, animal bite management, preventive measures against rabies infection among residents of Bataan, and snakebite toxicology.

This initiative reflects Easyvet’s continuous dedication to public health advocacy and education within our community. Our hearts are full of gratitude for the opportunity to serve you, our dearest furparents! ❤️🐶🐱

EASYVET JOINS BATAAN GENERAL HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER FOR RABIES AWARENESS ACTIVITY 🩺🧑‍⚕️🐶🐱

Easyvet has been invited by the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center - Public Health Unit (BGHMC) on March 25, 2025 to conduct public seminar on rabies disease, its prevention, and its impact on human, animal and public health. This activity was held in observance of Rabies Awareness Month this March, and aims to educate the public on accurate rabies information.

The seminar was held in collaboration with BGHMC - Public Health Unit, led by Dr. Chariness Sarmiento- Reyes and BGHMC-Animal Bite Treatment Center, led by Dr. Kathryn L. Pablo, who also conducted a session focusing on rabies on humans.

This partnership aligns with Easyvet’s commitment in promoting animal welfare and public health, emphasizing the importance of responsible pet ownership, vaccination, and community awareness in the fight against rabies.

Easyvet had volunteered at the Pawikan Night Patrol in Sitio Fuerte Hatchery Site, Morong, Bataan, last December 2, 2024. Activities include locating laying Pawikan and collecting their eggs for transfer to the center, and learning about pawikan conservation from local experts. 🐢🌊

This initiative aligns with our commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement in Bataan. It has been an incredible and humbling opportunity that deepened our understanding of the significant role of pawikan in marine ecosystems and the urgent need for collective action, as the pawikans face challenges from pollution to habitat destruction.

Easyvet recently received a rescued wildlife bird from concerned citizens of Capitangan, Abucay, who brought the injured bird to our facility for assistance. Upon examination, we discovered the bird had sustained a gunshot wound. Understanding the urgency of the situation, we promptly coordinated with the Bataan Provincial Government - Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) to ensure the eagle’s proper turnover and access to specialized medical intervention.

We urge the public to remember that wildlife plays a vital role in maintaining ecological balance, and harming these creatures is not only illegal but also detrimental to our environment. Let us all work together to protect and respect wildlife, ensuring their safety and preservation for future generations.
