Hihingi po sana kami ng tulong para kay Carmeliz. Lumulubo po ang tyan nya at need namin magpatest at ma drain yung fluid sa tiyan nya. Possible may FIP po sya. Meron po kaming 30+ cats na rescues. Kung need nyo po ng karagdagang proof pwede po kayo maghibgi ng video samin.

Kitten season is such a cute name that it's easy to forget how tragic it actually is.

"I just wanted her to have one litter but she keeps getting pregnant again before I can get her fixed."

"Well, she's not really my cat."

"She was dumped here and has had litter after litter under my house."

"I can't spay her, she's pregnant! That's mean!"

Then we get the calls. The cat who has been eating on your porch every day now has a kitten stuck in her birth canal and needs emergency surgery. You can't afford it. Neither can we. The solution is spaying that cat before this happens.

The kittens were cute and fun but now they're sick. They need help. You can't bring them inside. The solution is spaying that cat before these kittens were brought into the world.

Their eyes are ruptured because no one was there to treat the URI. The solution was spaying their mama cat before she gave birth.

The mother cat got hit by a car and now the newborn babies are fading.
They're injured.
They are covered in fleas and ticks.
Fly strike.
Maggots.
They're starving.
The list goes on and on.

Relative to the problem, we in rescue are just a few people who will never be able to do enough to end this on our own.

PLEASE step up for the cats you are feeding. Step up for the one you see in your neighbors yard every day. Step up for the local gas station cat. Even if it's not yours, even if it's not your fault. TNR is FREE, and knowing the cat you release will not contribute to this list of tragedies is PRICELESS. If you need help learning about the TNR resources in our area, please ask!
