Did you know that, TVT or Transmissible Venereal Tumor is a type of contagious cancer in dogs that commonly affects the ge***al area but can also spread to other body parts like the nose, eyes, or mouth.

🛑 How is it spread?
Through mating, licking, sniffing, or direct contact with infected dogs.

🔍 Signs to watch out for:
✔️ Swelling or bleeding in the ge***al area
✔️ Cauliflower-like growths
✔️ Excessive licking
✔️ Discharge or pain when urinating

💉 Is it treatable?
Yes! With chemotherapy, TVT has a high cure rate if treated early.

Chuchu came to us showing signs of abdominal distention and discomfort. After careful diagnostics, he was diagnosed with ascites secondary to a heart condition called MMVD (Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease).

Chuchu is now under close monitoring and receiving medication to help manage his condition and improve his quality of life.

We’re hopeful and doing everything we can to support his journey to recovery. Thank you to his loving family for trusting us with his care. 💕
