This is a dog being fed by a concerned citizen. She’s in heat and was likely hit by a car. Now she can no longer walk.
We’re sharing this in hopes that the right people see it and step in to help. As much as we want to rescue every animal in need, we simply can’t. Our hands are full and our resources are stretched thin.
This is already the second dog reported to us recently that was hit by a car because it was in heat. It’s heartbreaking… and PREVENTABLE.
This is why spaying ang neutering (kapon) is so important. When female dogs/cats go into heat, they roam, get chased, and are more vulnerable to accidents like this. Without kapon, the cycle of suffering continues.
We can’t take her in, but we’re doing what we can by raising awareness and reaching out. If anyone can rescue, foster, or offer help, please contact Geraldine Gerbanea Camporedondo at https://www.facebook.com/share/1NCnBUsF8W/?mibextid=wwXIfr. Even just sharing this could save her life.
