Spectacled Caiman (Caiman crocodilus) meet "Crocky" 🐊

✔️ Spectacled caimans are also known as the white caiman they are carnivorous and their prey changes along with their increase in size. They will eat insects, snails, crabs, shrimps, fish, lizards, snakes, turtles, mammals, and birds. Cannibalism can occur, especially during drought conditions, with many caimans of varying sizes together in small areas.
✔️ they are very adaptable thrives in many environments including rivers and lowland wetlands, favoring areas with still waters. It will hibernate during summer by burrowing into the mud if its environment becomes too harsh and food is not readily available.
✔️ The illuminated eyes of these caimans reflect red during the night. This makes them easy to see in the dark.
✔️ Spectacled caimans in the upper jaw of their broad, blunt snout have 14 to 16 pairs of teeth and 18 to 20 pairs in the lower jaw.
✔️ The gender of the babies is dependent on incubation temperature: females from a temperature above 32 degrees Celsius and males from a temperature below 29 degrees Celsius.

Meet "WINTER" the Ivory Ball python

✔️The Ball Python gets its name from the fact that when it is threatened or feels in danger, it will coil into a ball and stick its head tightly into the middle for protection! The 'Royal' Python refers to its use as a decoration for many African tribal leaders.

✔️The ball python, also called the royal python, is a python species native to West and Central Africa, where it lives in grasslands, shrublands and open forests. This nonvenomous constrictor is the smallest of the African pythons, growing to a maximum length of 182 cm.

✔️Ball python morphs are selectively bred by isolating mutations that cause different pattern or color variations. Estimated there are now over 4,000 different morphs in captivity!

✔️ Reticulated Python (Malayopython reticulatus) has been recorded the longest snake in the world they can grow 16 feet upto 10 meters. They are a non-venomous constrictor.
✔️ Reticulated Python lifespan is between 12 to 20 years.

✔️ Facts about the Alligator Snapping Turtle (AST) or also known as one of the strongest jaws in the animal kingdom. The AST is the largest species of turtle in the fresh water they can grow upto 30 inches and weight upto 249 pounds.
✔️ AST lifespan is between 45 to 100 years
The oldest snapping turtle ever recorded was an alligator snapping turtle named Thunder that was estimated to be 150 years old when it passed away in 2016.
