People keep asking what's actually in Flock I.V. 💧

13 essential nutrients in one scoop: electrolytes to keep my birds drinking, probiotics and enzymes for gut support, and vitamins A, D3 and E for recovery. No fillers.

I use it whenever my flock is molting, stressed, or settling in new birds. One scoop per gallon of water, chicks through adults.

What's your flock's go-to during molt season? 👇

Meet Flock I.V., our newest release. 💧

I give it to my girls whenever heat, stress, molt or travel knocks them off balance. One scoop per gallon of water gets them four electrolytes, three probiotics, enzymes and recovery nutrients all at once.

It's safe for chicks through adults and fits non-medicated flock programs. When in doubt, call your vet.

When does your flock need the most extra support: summer heat or molt season? 👇

Ever heard of the Chantecler? ❄️

She's a Canadian breed made for cold. Her tiny comb and small wattles mean less frostbite risk, and she keeps laying brown eggs through winter.

Even tough breeds can use backup when temperatures drop. Immuni-Guard's garlic and oregano support healthy immune function, and prebiotics and probiotics support digestion.

How cold does it get where your flock lives? 👇

3 breeds we'd put in any backyard flock. 🐔

Australorps are calm, glossy black layers (one set a record of 364 eggs in 365 days). Rhode Island Reds are tough and steady no matter the weather. Buff Orpingtons are the gentle golden sweethearts, cold-hardy and great with kids.

Which of these three do you have in your flock right now?

Getting fewer eggs right now? Most of the time, she's fine. 🥚

The five usual reasons: shorter days (laying runs on daylight), molt (she's rebuilding feathers for winter), age, stress in the coop, and nutrition. Hens need about 4 grams of calcium a day, so keep layer feed out plus oyster shell in its own dish.

Is it a problem? Usually, no. Laying picks back up as the days get longer.

While she regrows, Omega Booster's mealworms and sunflower support feather health, and chia and flax promote omega-rich eggs.

How many eggs are you getting this week compared to summer? 👇

Should you add a light to the coop? Both sides, honestly. 💡

Hens lay on day length. Under about 12 hours of light, most slow down. Keep the day at 14–16 hours with a light and most keep laying through winter. Skip the light and she takes a natural break, then picks back up in spring.

If you do add one: mornings only, on a timer, add it slowly, and 16 hours total is the max. Light all night messes with her hormones.

Light or not, she's rebuilding feathers right now. Omega Booster's mealworms and sunflower support feather health, and chia and flax promote omega-rich eggs.

So which camp are you in: light, or let her rest? 👇
