🌤️ We’re OPEN today – and the sun is out!

A little cool here in Woodend today, but the sunshine is making an appearance and it’s a lovely day to get outdoors!

Our beautiful Sebastopol geese are out enjoying themselves, showing off their amazing curly feathers. They’re certainly a rather unusual-looking bunch! 🪿

Come for a wander, meet our wonderful collection of birds, reptiles and farm animals, and enjoy some fresh air in our peaceful surroundings.

Every visit helps support the animals in our care and the work we do here at Wilderness Woodend. 💚

🌸🐝 Spring is in the air at Wilderness Woodend!

Our flowering Snow Gums are looking beautiful in today’s spring sunshine, with the bumblebees busy making the most of the blooms!

We grow a variety of gum trees around the park, providing natural browse and enrichment for our animals, along with seed pods and nuts for our parrots. 🌿🦜

It’s all part of creating a more natural and enriching environment for the animals in our care.

The sun is shining, the temperatures are climbing, and our beautiful Mandarin Ducks are enjoying their day here at Wilderness Woodend!

☀️ It's a hot one here at Wilderness Woodend!

Even our ostriches are getting into the spring spirit! 🪶

After a cooler, wet week, it's lovely to see some sunshine again! Our colourful Rainbow Lorikeets are certainly making the most of it, enjoying a splash around in their baths and soaking up the spring sunshine!
