We are just about out of firewood and we haven't been making any more so it is the end of an era and a decade of service and supply. We have about 10 truckload to go, if that!! Best you get in quick!

We think our wood is the best you will get because we have carefully split this gnarly old man macrocarpa and pine and then left it out in the cold for 12 months to season. Everything is hand loaded so you get quality and great chunky peices.

I've got 4m3 well seasoned pine in the truck, tinder dry and ready to roar. Local delivery is included and it's $545 for the truckload.

We ONLY sell well seasoned wood, no short cuts here. Our wood for next year is seasoning, while it currently hails outside. And we load by hand - no digger so no mud, dirt and less debris. Quality rules with our wood, we only operate locally and treat our customers the way we like to be treated with no nasty surprises and quality product and service.

Interestingly the article refers to a cord of wood, which is an inaccurate and illegal measure of firewood in NZ. Too many variants of a cord, we sell by m3, as per legal standards.

This is locally harvested, from rather gnarly old man trees that got too big and cumbersome so had to be felled. Our split wood has been seasoning for 12 months, so it’s easy to light and ready to burn cleanly and efficiently.

Store in summer so you know you’ve got some tinder dry wood, perfectly seasoned that you can pull out to bring lovely dry heat once the winter damp sets in.

* 4m3 truckload of seasoned old man pine is $500 (going to $520 from 1 March).
*4m3 50/50 Mac/pine is $580.
* If you’ve only got a small space to store dry wood, we sell 2m3 (half truck-load) for $300.
