Wellington North Rural Fire Brigade are holding a charity quiz at 1841 for the Firefighters Sky Tower Challenge raising money For Blood Cancer NZ.

If you would like to put a team together here are the details:
- Pub Quiz 26th April 2026 from 7pm to 9pm at 1841
- Tickets $20 per person.
- Teams consist of 4 - 6 members

Planters built for a customer recently.

These were custom built and then installed onsite. Roughsawn timber and a lip to finish off the top. All internally framed and polythene lined. Planters can be painted or left to weather as is.

Xlarge dog kennel ($600) with charcoal painted roof ($80) and extended deck beneath the overhang veranda ($80). This kennel also includes chew protection ($65) and full insulation ($240, includes lining of inside walls with additional ply layer inside).

Hinges and fixings are stainless steel. All kennels are 100% weathertight (glued and siliconed). Timber rated for 25yrs outside. Dog paw latch can be swiveled and front opened out to provide indoor/outdoor flow.

With all the bells and whistles this is like the Hilton for your little doggy.

Large Wendy House (the Manor) elevated on posts. Slide and ladder attached. The overhead beam to the right allows swings to be later attached.

Painted and deck stained by the customer. Shadowclad used on exterior walls to provide a weatherboard look finish.

I built this for a customer a few years back and returned to add an addional external nesting box to the coop. I was really impressed to see the final setup. Great paint job too. This would have to now be the chicken Hilton.

Large dog kennel ($450).

This large dog kennel has a couple of added extras. A charcoal painted roof (+$60) and an extended deck beneath the overhanging front veranda (+$60).

Swivel the dog paw latch and open the front panel out. This provides access to the inside of the kennel. It also provides indoor/outdoor flow for the dog. Perfect for summer.

The ten-hen house. Item has been secured to the ground and customer has painted/stained and decorated. Hens look happy with the job.

The ten-hen house is suitable for up to 10 hens where hens can free range. Prices start at $1,095.
