Wellington Canine Obedience Club Ribbon Trial Saturday 30th August at our club grounds, information below. A huge thanks to Neil Weeds for agreeing to judge for us on the day.

This is a very relaxed show, and a great place for beginning handlers to come and have a go! See you there!

On Sunday, your amazing committee held a working bee and got the grounds and clubrooms all looking great, ready for the first classes of Term 3 this week. Special thanks to Mark, who scrubbed the toilet area cleaner than we've ever seen it, including the walls!!!! Next up is tackling the graffiti, but we need the wall to be warmer before we paint.

We are so lucky to have such an awesome committee steering the club, thanks heaps team!!!

Some photos of the WCOC RallyO team doing amazing work at the Benefit Show. What an awesome team to be a part of! Hard working in the ring and then heaps of fun out of the ring. And so supportive and encouraging of each other! Really cool to have Valerie's Mum and Dad hanging out with the team too!

Proud of every single one of these awesome handlers and their dogs 💛🖤

Thanks heaps to Alexus Richardson Dogography and Cathy Strong for the awesome photos capturing the dogs working to their absolute best!

Amazing work from the WCOC RallyO team at the Central Region Benefit Show in Manfield in Feilding this weekend!

Stand out performances from Ted, who didn't put a foot wrong all weekend, Frankie, who qualified in all 3 of her Novice A rounds (94, 95, 97) in only their second comp (need another judge to qualify for RN unfortunately) and Valerie with Lacey, a team who only started RallyO a couple of weeks ago, with Valerie getting the team around the course perfectly. A bit more distraction training and they are going to be a team to beat!

Some lovely work too from Fern, who qualified in Advanced B, Locky in Advanced B and Skye in Advanced A.

The WCOC Comp Team had a very successful weekend at the Central Region Benefit Show at Manfield in Feilding!

Annie was in the lineup in all 3 Novices, winning a run off every time and placed 3rd, 4th and 5th!

Simi entered his second ever Beginners, transitioning from RallyO to Comp only a few weeks ago, doing some beautiful heelwork and getting the medal from Judge Rod Jamieson for the best Beginners recall.

Tui also did some lovely work in Novice!

Great work team!

So proud of this team Ramiel and Simi! 4 weeks ago went in their first RallyO Champ Test and came away with their RN qualification. This weekend (after one week of Comp Training) entered their first Champ Test in Beginners and nailed it! Yesterday got better and better after entering Intro New Handler (3rd) and Elementary (2nd) as well as Beginners and today did an awesome round in Beginners! Their on lead heelwork and recall were awesome! Now we need to work on longevity into off lead. Great work Ramiel and Simi!

Donna and Tui had another great day too and placed 4th in Novice!

Ramiel and Simi in their first ever comp did some really nice work in Beginners, nailed the recall and stays.. Then went into Intro New Dog placing 3rd then pulled it all together and nailed Elementary and placed 2nd!!!

Tui placed 5th in Novice after a runoff with some really nice work.

Stanley nailed his Test B training round.

Awesome to see Toni and Roux, Daniel, Phoebe and P**i and Valerie and Lacey who came along to hang out, socialise in the environment and train outside the ring!
