It’s been a while since we introduced ourselves, so here’s a little about the faces behind Beloved Pet Furniture!

👨‍🔧 First up is Stu – he’s the creative mind and skilled hands designing and building all of our wooden pet furniture.
👩‍💻 Then there’s me, Bess – I look after all the posts, phone calls, and emails (so if you’ve chatted with us, it was me 😊).

We’re based in Wellington with our two dogs and two cats, who live the good life of doing… well, mostly nothing! 🐾 Running a small NZ-based business lets us work from home with flexibility – and while it can be a little stressful at times, we absolutely love it.

A huge thank you to all of you who follow, support, and share our journey – it really means the world to us. 💛

I often think about all the furry friends we’ve built ramps and stairs for. Each one has their own story—recovering from surgery, managing an old injury, slowing down with age, or simply needing a boost with those short little legs. 💕 I hope you and your precious pets are all doing well and keeping happy. ❤️

I recently learnt a new word — manypaws. Apparently, this phenomenon often happens to women of a certain age.
Definition of manypaws: a person who, for no obvious reason, owns more animals than she needs.
I think I have it. So far… two big dogs, two cats, and occasionally fostering rats for the SPCA.
