Who will the wagger of the week be this week you ask? Well let's find out - he's the only one of his breed in the pack, and has mastered his craft in slobbery, meet Dennis!

My official name is Dennis but I also answer to Denny and FOMO - I hate missing out on ANYTHING! I was named Dennis as my humans had 3 previous boxers before me who all had D names, and lets be honest, it's simply just a GREAT name!

I am a 6 year old Boxer and I was both in North Canterbury.

Some of my favourite things are going out in the boat, teenage boys, swimming after tennis balls (I'm a ball man, sticks are overrated), tradies, car rides (with anyone even strangers), and love a good shindig!

My fondest memory was when I got to spend Crate Day with 15 x 18 year old boys! Unlimited sausages, stacks of beer cans in the garden, tomfoolery and no shortage of idiotic behaviour for me to join in with - BEST DAY EVER!

My fears include horses, strange objects that I have never seen before, and a late meal. This includes Breakfast and Dinner.

I joined the Dog Squad this year and was an instant hit with the squad due to my striking looks and mesmerising slobber. I like to keep within treat catching distance and you can be sure I won't miss, I've always got 1 eye on the treat bag at all times!

The sun came back this week to welcome our 4th Kelpie Benny to the squad, and fan favourite / stallion Cedar joined us again for his routine catch-up!

It was also a pleasure to offer some complimentary weekend spaces to those dogs who are unable to join us during the week, and need some other furry friends in their life 🐾

Whilst the inversion did its best to sabotage our photos, as always we still had many highlights such as Valleys 1st birthday, Waffle and Ralph big wave surfing, Teds Southland rugby jersey and we also welcomed Baxter to the squad!

It's wagger of the week time again and this week we get to know Harry, one of our young kelpies brimming with enthusiasm and of course - endless energy!

My official name is Harry but I also answer to Hazz, Harry Hazard, doing the Harry and Harry Houdini depending on the situation! I was named Harry as I just seemed like a Harry - Strong but friendly!

I am an 8 month old Kelpie, and like many of my other dog squad mates I was born in the Southland paradise of Mataura.

Some of my favourite things are stealing clothes, chasing and being chased, RUNNING and I love sitting on people! I'm not fussy on who it is, I will sit on anyone who will let me! I also do a great side eye and love a good sprinkler!

I joined the Dog Squad this year after my friend Oakley invited me to join at the dog park, and my confidence and social skills have never been better! I LOVE chasing the other fast dogs around in circles, and there are so many exciting things happening at once I don't know where to look, so I make sure I cover as much ground as possible so I don't miss out on anything!

It’s getting chilly up in here! Not that the dogs notice or care! This week we welcomed the super cute Pebbles, pocket rocket Mickey and the irresistibly cuddly Ruby to the squad. Full steam ahead! 🐾 🧊

It has only taken 6 years but we finally have a website! We have created some new walking options for the puppies, the pensioners, opened up more complimentary spaces for low income earners and will launch free meet up events so no dog misses out! These will all be rolling out from next week 🐾

It’s always nice to be back amongst some sunrise action, especially with new friends such as Golden Lab Charlie, Golden Retriever Reggie and our first Boxer Dennis who have all joined the squad! 🐾

The good times kept rolling this week as we welcomed some more new young and enthusiastic recruits! Black lab Ziggy and Kelpie Harry joined the squad as we hit our first frosts for the year! 🧊🐾
