☀️🎾 Sunshine, zoomies, and one very predictable outcome... 😂

Today's mission was simple: get the ball.

The reality? A pack of determined dogs trying their hardest to steal it from each other all day long! 🎾🐕💨

Despite everyone's best efforts, I was right... Millie somehow managed to end up with the ball every single time. We're starting to think she has a secret ball-acquisition strategy. 🤔😂

A beautiful sunny day, lots of happy dogs, and plenty of laughs had by everyone! ☀️🐾

🐾 Dogs of the Week: Bob & Dave (a bonded pair… obviously)

These two Basset Hounds don’t arrive so much as make an entrance—and every single visit comes with its own little storyline.

There’s always something quirky, slightly ridiculous, and completely entertaining going on when Bob and Dave are here. Whether they’re inventing new ways to move slowly but dramatically, or just charming the entire daycare by existing, they’ve become absolute crowd favourites.

Honestly, the daycare wouldn’t be the same without their weekly chaos and comedy duo energy. We’re just very lucky they keep turning up to keep us all entertained 🐶💛

🚚 Basset & Co. Removal Services 🚚 This week’s project: moving one (1) hexagon cube approximately 37cm and acting like they’d completed a full house relocation.
Now taking bookings.
Fast? No.
Accurate? Also no.
Cute? Extremely.
Payment accepted in snacks and compliments only. 🐾😂

🎾🐾 A Day Of Balls, Good Manners & Questionable Selfies 🐾🎾

Today's dogs had four main priorities:

🎾 Chase balls.
🏃 Ignore the obedience jumps.
📸 Get as close to the camera as physically possible.

We also set up a couple of obedience jumps and thought we'd see some impressive athletic displays. We carefully explained the job, demonstrated the job, and encouraged the job. The dogs listened politely... then unanimously decided that running around the jumps was a much better idea. 😂

Apparently, if there's a way to avoid work and still have fun, the dogs will find it!

Of course, there was still plenty of time for ball games, zoomies with friends, and taking some accidental selfies. Several dogs were convinced the camera was there exclusively for their close-up, resulting in a camera roll full of noses and extreme close-ups.

A fun day, some great learning, very little jumping, and lots of happy dogs. Just another day at Canine Collective! ❤️🐶

🎾🐾 Another busy day at daycare! 🐾🎾

Today we gave the ball thrower a try, and while some of the dogs were very impressed, others seemed to think it was completely unnecessary when humans already throw balls just fine! 😂

Emme was back for her second day and is settling in beautifully, gaining confidence and getting to know all her new friends.

Heidi treated us to plenty of zoomies, racing around the yard with a smile on her face and enough energy to power the whole daycare!

Meanwhile, Benji continued his important role as Chief Cow Watcher. 🐄👀 We suspect he knows more about what the cows are up to than they do themselves.

Just another day of fun, friends, and a little bit of chaos at Canine Collective! ❤️🐶
