Let us care for your family dog in a safe, loving, farm environment while you are away. We have a custom built building, which houses six comfortable kennels, each with access to their own outdoor area, and a combined reception/office/utility area. Our dogs run as one "pack" so it is very important for them to be friendly, fully vaccinated (this is a must!) and preferably desexed). If your dog is

older, timid, or very low energy and doesn't like to play a lot, they still have social time with the pack, but we can give them a break by going on little walks down our quiet country road. Our grass paddock is great for dogs wanting social playtime and we go out rain or shine. Be aware that it is now Winter so yes there are mud and puddles to play in! To keep things as familiar as possible, we feed the food you supply for your dog, and recommend you bring a blanket or favourite toy from home as a comforter. We do have a range of comfy beds, however you can bring your own bed and even a photo of the family to hang on the wall if you want to. As above, your dog will need to be reasonably well socialised, and tolerant of cattle and horses which graze nearby. Because we are a small facility I'm sorry but we are not suited to all types and sizes of dogs, also including anti-social dogs, excessive barkers or howlers, destructive dogs, or escape artists. Timid or shy dogs are ok. Your dog does need to be fully vaccinated, and up to date with flea and worm treatments. Please check your vaccination card which should show a general vaccination like the Vanguard Plus 5 which most dogs have, PLUS a separate one for Leptospirosis, PLUS a separate one for Kennel Cough. If for any reason your dog becomes unwell we will attempt to contact you for instructions, however if we feel the situation can't wait we will take them straight to the vet for treatment and contact you asap. We try to time check in and out around our day's activities. Check in preferably between 8am and 9am or 1pm and 2pm. This allows your dog to join in with the start of a play session as soon as they arrive, and have plenty of time to settle in. Check out by arrangement. We are open 8am to 5.30pm. Pricing is $35 per calendar day. Example: Check in Friday, check out Monday = 4 days. Payment terms are PRE-payment by bank transfer (please allow for weekend/public holiday delays). Please note, it is not usual practice to refund boarding fees if you decide to collect your dog early, so please check your dates carefully.
