New Lives Community Desexing Programme ๐พ
Weโre excited to share some important information about our Community Desexing Programme for cats and dogs.
We have two vet clinics on board, serving Hamilton and now Te Awamutu, helping us provide much-needed desexing support to our community.
Our community desexing is for people who genuinely can not afford the retail cost of desexing. Please do not take advantage of this as it ruins our trust.
Vouchers include desexing, microchipping and registration with the NZ Companion Animal Register.
๐ฑ Cat Vouchers โ Hamilton & Te Awamutu
Your contribution is $60, and we cover the balance.
๐ถ Dog Vouchers โ Te Awamutu Only
Your contribution is $110, and we cover the balance.
Due to previous abuse of our automated voucher system, dog vouchers will now be manually created.
To apply, you will need to provide:
* Proof of address and a photo of your dog. Dog vouchers will also have a strict use-by date. Our team has been spending a considerable amount of time following up with people to use their vouchers, and this simply isnโt sustainable.
Use it or lose it. Once a voucher expires, we will not be able to reissue it.
Vouchers will only be created once an application has been completed and the invoice has been paid. There may be a delay in processing applications, particularly over weekends.
Routine desexing is available only for dogs:
* Under 30kg, that are not pregnant, male dogs with both testicles descended, living within Te Awamutu, Kihikihi, Ohaupo, Pirongia or ลtorohanga.
All new vouchers have an expiry date of 180 days from the date they are generated.
Please note:
* Unused vouchers are non-refundable.
* Vouchers are not transferable to another person.
* Full names must be used when applying.
* Anyone attempting to avoid the checks by using initials or incomplete names may have their voucher cancelled.
* Please check the website for information before contacting us. Emails requesting information that is already available on the website will not receive a response, as we need to keep administration to a minimum.
* Please visit our website to check whether you qualify for subsidised desexing. All eligibility information and voucher applications are available there.
๐ฑ๐ถ Help us keep this programme going โค๏ธ
This programme is funded through funds raised by our Op Shop in Cambridge. Without your continued support โ donating items, shopping with us and spreading the word we cannot continue providing this much needed programme. Every donation and every purchase helps us desex more cats and dogs and make a real difference in our community.
