Xylitol can be found in a lot of products and it's now being labeled as Birch Sugar because it's extracted from Birch bark. It's toxic to dogs, cats and ferrets.
Check your peanut butter ingredients before you give your animals any and if they get into something they shouldn't have, read the ingredients to know if you should get them to the vet right away!

Well Kaikoura we have a new base!! Technically still a mobile unit but will stay over there to help me out! One day it will mean less stress and time wasted packing and setting up! I’m sorry our set up is still very rough around the edges at the moment as time has not been a friend! Watch this space and it will one day look professional as well! Please use the entrance on the corner of Torquay and Brighton streets. There is a small gate on the corner. Please don’t drive in off Brighton street as that is all private property, my entrance is the small wooden gate on the corner of the black fence, there is heaps of parking on Torquay street. Thankyou all for following my adventure and hope to see you all soon! ❤️🐾❤️

Hi guys! Thankyou all for a great year and for meeting so many new lovely poochies !! 🥰 I have some big plans for VIP K9’s in the new year so watch this space!! Thankyou for your loyal support on this whole adventure and it still is an everyday adventure!! I hope to see you all again in 2025!! And lots of love to you all over the holidays!! Hey and if anyone has any old blankets that they no longer need and just taking up valuable room I would love them for my dog crate blankets please! I can organize pick up at most places or please drop off to my place in Waiau! Thankyou and Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎁

Hi there!! Well it seems this year has been in overdrive! And some wooly mammoths are appearing for their summer cuts but I’m already getting close to being booked out before Xmas especially with all these awsome people who book ahead each time!! So if you would like your pooch looking good for Xmas then get booked in now or I’m sorry I won’t have appointments till the new year!! Was at the dogs day out In kaikoura yesterday organised by the council and got to talk to the lovely people about these awesome new tags they have!! It has a code you can txt and it then sends back the details the owner chooses to share eg phone number! Makes finding a dogs home a s**t load easier than trying to go through our councils hoops and websites!! What a great idea! Here hoping the hurinui council pic up on it too and realise that the metal tags didn’t work so well, I know I have 2 that are unreadable now. These new ones are also 💯 recycled plastic and are a little softer than the old ones which make them easier to put on, can also get disk ones!! Thanks guys, just a cool observation!! ❤️🐾❤️
