Based in Central Upper Hutt, Four Small Paws provides a fun and safe environment to give your Small Breed Dog play time and socialisation with other dogs that match their size. At Four Small Paws we offer a large, bright play area with comfortable seats and beds

to provide a home-like atmosphere. We believe that not only do dogs need play and companionship every day, they also need structure. Every day we have play times, rest times and training times. Your Small Breed Dog will enjoy this stimulating and caring environment. At Four Small Paws your Small Breed Dog will quickly feel ‘at home’. They will make new friends and enjoy their time here. After your time at work you will be greeted by a happy, tired, well-loved dog who is ready to go home with you.

Its been a wet week at FSP. We have had our lunchtime disco and now trying to get all the pups outside with the break in the weather before it turns again. Some are more inclined than others lol....

We would like to welcome Toby to the Four Small Paws Family.

He arrived with a leap and a bound. Did not want to wait on the quiet side upon arrival. Immediately wanted to go and meet all his new friends.

Was not shy when everyone wanted to come and sniff and say hello. Liked playing the carrot games.

It's with heavy hearts we wish a fond farewell to our PM staff member Kim. It is her last afternoon with Four Small Paws today.

She leaves us to venture on with a new job prospect.

On behalf of the Four Small Paws Family we bid her adieu, and wish her every success in her new vocation.

Good morning all our Four Small Paws family.

Whilst we are in the midst of this cold weather, we would just like to remind our owners the importance of making sure your pup is up to date with their vaccinations before coming into the centre.

Whilst we are a little flexible by a few days, if they are out of date by more than a week they are unable to attend at the centre until they have been fully vaxed again.

With a lot of winter bugs going round and especially the Canine Cough, we need to be vigilant of all pups health attending at our centre and how quickly things can spread.

We want to look after the wellbeing and have a safe environment for all our care packages who are attending.

Good morning to our Four Small Paws family.

Just as a house keeping reminder when coming into the centre please.

When coming in for daycare sessions. All pups must have a collar/harness and also a lead. Also where possible it is useful for our staff if our pups also have a name tag attached to their collar.

In the event of locating or an emergency (especially where a few of our dogs look the same), a name tag is great to quickly identify them. We can then quickly attach leads/harnesses etc to evacuate safely. As long as they have a collar, a harness is not a prerequisite unless they are going home in the transport vehicle.
