Sadly, we had to put my old mate Miguel (KD MIGAL) down today at 22 years old. He was the most amazing horse to own and was a true alrounder. He was multi champion ridden and inhand, FEI endurance, Junior NZ CTR champion multiple times, qualified for dressage champs, evented, numerous kids sat their D, D+ and C pony club certificates on him and he was the top babysitter of my youngstock. Not often do you get a horse so safe and versatile as him, I have owned him for 20 years, and that's half my life. He was the most perfect purebred arabian horse with Karamea bloodlines and taught so many kids how to ride. Fly high, my old mate 💔 🐎

Come and join us for a beginners experience designed for children from 2 to 10 years old. This introduction to ponies class runs for one hour. Bookings are essential as we have limited spaces.

$40 per child.

Please send us a message to book in or for any questions. Payment via bank deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the position.

We require a minimum of 24 hours cancelation notice.

A busy month of school, lessons, Lil Trotters, pony club and competitions for our RVE girls.

Angie has recently bought her new horse Pearl and had a great time jumping at pony club camp.

Kaitlin and Tilly passed their D+ pony club certificate and had fun at camp!

Addi and Posh passed their D certificate and Addi is enjoying learning to jump.

Sophie, who you may have seen at Lil Trotters, is starting to coach on a Saturday for us at RVE. Her and Walter competed at their first one day event.

🦄 Children's riding lessons 🦄

We have three mid week spaces available for primary or intermediate aged school children. Due to popular demand, we are opening up more weekend spaces with a new coach.

Here's our monthly update for what Team RVE and crew have been up to. 🌈 🎠 🏅

🐎 Kaitlin and Tilly
You might remember our old lesson horse Tilly, she has been busy competing in the local pony club teams dressage and games.
They won a 1st for best costume at pony club games and picked up a 3rd place for teams dressage.

🐎 Addi and Posh
Addi is a regular helper at Lil Trotters and has a new pony. They have been busy with dressage
being a group member of the overall pony club winning team and getting two individual placings. They also picked up a reserve champion at the Equi smart Dressage series.

🐎 Angie and Pearl
Angie has a new horse that arrived last week and she's already taken her out to a pony club rally and is having lots of fun!

🐎 James and Pixie
Miss Pixie got pulled out the paddock at her lease home (after being replaced by a motorbike for Christmas) and taken to the Tinui Sports day. She received lots of nice comments and ribbons.

New RVE ponies Lady and Cheeky. I'll let you find them in the paddock 😃
