Our facility offers a fun and safe place for your dog to enjoy while you're away on holiday or at work. We offer a home stay for dogs with daily walks as part of our day care and dog-sitting services. Our furry guests enjoy socialisation with other friendly dogs, afternoon naps in our lounge and the coziness and safety of always having human friends around to give them cuddles. We invite your dog

Why, you ask?

Well… I got a little too enchanted by the sunshine filtering through the trees during a forest walk last week and took a graceful tumble. 😅🌞🌳
Rolled my ankle (ouch). I didn't think much of it until Saturday morning when my foot was double its size 🤭😝. 💕🐶

All good, though. I'm recovering very well and quickly.
Hence, Alex and Anisse will take over the walks for a little while.

Now to the ✨️Exciting News 📢

We’re also busy interviewing new dog walkers to join our team, so please bear with us while we send fewer updates and photos than usual. It’s all part of growing our amazing little pack! 🐕‍🦺💚

Happy Monday!
It started with a freezing 🥶 morning (-2 degrees here on our side), but it got better as the sun came up.

🎉🎂 Happy 5th Birthday, Pickle! 🐾💚

Today we celebrated our very own bouncy white fluffball — Pickle turned 5! 🎈

If you’ve met Pickle, you know he’s the life of the party (and sometimes the chaos too 😅). He’s come such a long way over the years — from the wild child we couldn’t trust off-leash at all, to one of the most reliable and well-behaved dogs in our off-leash crew. 💪🐶

These days, he’s much more chilled… unless I dare step outside without him. Then he lets the whole world know! 😂 But even when he drives us a little bit crazy every Wednesday, we wouldn’t trade him for the world. 💚

We love seeing him bounce up and down like a fluffy marshmallow through the bay window, always ready to spring into action and steal the show.

Pickle, you’re funny, loyal, full of character, and we LOVE having you as part of our weekly daycare family. Here’s to many more years of zoomies, barking (at just the right time), and being the cutest party animal around. 🎉🐕‍🦺🦴

Anna & Blair: the Story of how Rocky & Co. came to be.

We began dog sitting in 2014 when we lived in Redwood, Christchurch. Our idea was to offer a pet-sitting service with a “family experience”, as in the dogs that we looked after would stay with us inside the house (no cages or kennels) and would go on daily walks with me.

First, it was called Anna & Rocky Pet Care because we only had Rocky then. As the number of furry clients grew, it became a dream for both Blair and I to have a larger property where we could look after more dogs. In 2015, we purchased our current property in Clarkville, Kaiapoi. We also adopted Wookie in the end of 2015 and Jack in January 2017. Therefore, the name of the business had to change to something that would include all our dogs and their new friends. Rocky & Co. Pet Care was born!

We now have a large grassed area for the dogs to play and run around during the day.

And at night time, the dogs sleep inside the house in our lounge on any of our several dog beds and couches.
