We offer private lessons/coaching and educational clinics - alongside professional services catering for all aspects of your horse's education.

Scott is immensely passionate about developing horses that are light, responsive and confident - making them enjoyable to handle and ride and able to perform at their best. He offers coaching for riders of all levels and backgrounds who want to improve their riding and their relationship with their horse - taking their understanding of their horse to the next level and having fun along the way! Scott has been handling and starting horses full-time for the public for over 20 years and is currently competing his own horse at Advanced (Level 6) dressage. Scott is an experienced coach/teacher and is passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge with other riders. His teaching style is positive and encouraging, while motivating and supporting people to step out of their comfort zone when necessary to achieve their goals and build their confidence - both in and outside of the arena. Scott specialises in not only setting up the foundation of horses through handling/starting undersaddle, but also in assisting riders to build on their horse's foundation to where the horses are set up, ready to get out and about and/or be competition ready. Hi everyone; we had a fabulous weekend packed full of learning with Flynn and Ollie at Sue Edwards’ 3-day Flatwork Clinic which was held at Nooramunga Ranch! 🐴 We are so fortunate to be able to use such a fantastic and well set-up facility (not to mention the massive covered arena!) 😍 A huge thank you to Fliss for having us!! 🙏 We’re looking forward to returning again next weekend for Sue’s next clinic - a 2-day Jumping Clinic! 🤩 Photos to come, but in the meantime a couple of phone snaps of Flynn and Ollie in the yards in their matching Zeberdee Equine woollen rugs - keeping them nice and cosy on a clear but chilly first morning!! 💙💚 For those who have emailed over the past week, Michaela will be catching up on emails and will get back to you over the next day or two - thank you for your patience! 📩

Hi everyone; how amazing has the warm sunshine been these past two days! ☀️ We had a fabulous Ridden Clinic on Saturday with a wonderful group of riders and their horses! 🥰🌟 A big thanks to everyone who came along! 🙌 Scott managed to snap a group pic - Michaela was riding too so no other pics sorry! 📸 We have also just uploaded some Twilight Lesson evenings to the website which are now available to book 🌅 If these twilight dates don’t work for you and/or you’d like a lesson earlier in the day (Mon-Fri) flick us an email and we can see what we can do! 📆 😎

Hi everyone; in rather exciting news... for Michaela at least (😝) she has a new camera so will be back to being able to take photos of both client horses and our own horses!! 📸 We are very much looking forward to our Ridden Clinic here at our Facility tomorrow! 🐴 🤩 Now daylight savings has kicked in, we will be adding some Twilight Lesson Evenings to our website over the weekend so keep an eye out! 👀 Photo (using the new camera of course 😉) of Scott and Van during a lesson with Kirsty Schist earlier in the week ☀️💚

Hi everyone; it’s been a busy day with horses coming/going, a Groundwork Clinic, then lessons to round out the day! 🐴☀️ A couple of video snippets of Ted and Dusty, who have both been with us being started undersaddle, being ridden by their owners during their handover sessions this week in preparation for going home 🥰 This is always a big milestone for owners, the horses, and us!! ☑️ Plus spot the nosey parkers (and rail pusher-off-ers🥴) at the end… Prince, Percy and Addi keeping a close eye on things 👀🧐

Hi everyone; firstly, we want to extend our thanks to you all for your kind comments and messages following the passing of Scott’s dad, and to all owners that had horses here at the time and those who were booked for lessons/clinics, for your understanding and patience as we moved things around! ❤️‍🩹 After most of this year off for various reasons, Scott brought Van back into work last week - a little bit of quiet time together, sunshine, and horses does wonders for the soul! ☀️🌷 A wee video of them having a quiet cruise around the arena 🐴 We are looking forward to our Groundwork Clinic, followed by private lessons, coming up this Sat, 26 Sep - followed closely by a ridden Clinic on 10 Oct - before Sue Edwards then arrives from the UK! 🇬🇧

Hi everyone; it is with great sadness that we let you all know that Scott's much-loved dad, Michael (or Mick, Mike, or Micky, as many knew him) passed away on Saturday 🤍🕊️ He loved horses and, over the years, many of you will have met him while visiting our facility for lessons, clinics, or to watch your horses being worked by Scott 🐴 He would have no doubt stopped for a natter, shared a story, or offered a bit of advice (if not to you, then definitely to Scott 🫢) as he hung out or tinkered about with a project of sorts! 🚗 He was a huge part of our life and family, and we will miss him more than words can say... 🥺 Thank you to everyone who was so understanding regarding the cancellation of Saturday's Lesson Day, and for your patience over the coming days as we take the time we need to be together with our family and navigate this enormous loss ❤️

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there - stepdads, to-be dads, pet/horse dads, godfathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, mums who are also dads, all dad figures, and to the dads who are no longer with us - but forever loved and remembered 💙💚 Thinking of everyone who is missing and remembering their dads today. Be gentle with yourselves and cherish each and every one of those special moments and memories 🩵🕊️

Hi everyone; a busy morning with the team at Road Metals delivering our new arena surface! 🤩 Huge thanks to truck driver, Frameo, for doing an absolute superb job of spreading as it was unloaded 👏🙌 This means a lot less work/shovelling for us…. which is always a good thing!! 🪏🤪 We’re now fighting over who gets to ride on it first 🤭 Perfect timing as we have a Lesson Day this Saturday (fully-booked) plus our first Ridden Clinic for Spring the following Saturday, 12 Sep (two rider spaces left - link to more details and/or to book in comments)🐴🐴

Hi everyone; happy first day of Spring!! 🌸🌼🌷 The days are slowly getting longer and the horses are starting to moult… a sure sign the warmer weather is coming! We’re looking forward to bringing our horses properly back into work! 👏 A couple of video snippets taken today of Hugo enjoying his hay, and Ted ticking off his second ride in the arena in the last of the afternoon sun ☀️🐴 It’s nice to see things greening up! 💚
