Elves Abyssinian

Congratulations to my Abyssinian cat, Elves Sirius, on a fantastic year of achievements! 🏆✨

Big thanks to all the clubs, judges, and fellow breeders—everyone’s cats are absolutely amazing! Since last year, Sirius hasn’t been too keen on shows. We’ve been training him hard at home (though he still gets grumpy sometimes 😂). I hope he keeps it up next year and reaches our goal of 2100 points! 🎯

A very special shoutout to Allison—all these beautiful photos were taken by her, preserving these wonderful moments. 📸❤️

Our last show of the year at the ASB Pet Expo was truly memorable. A huge thank you to David and Kathleen for your incredible help. Your collection of statues added so much color and charm to the whole event! 🎨🐾

What a wonderful moment for cat lovers everywhere! 🐱✨

To celebrate the Hamilton Cat Club's 75th anniversary, we wanted to capture something truly special—a feeling of pure warmth and affection that honors the bond between humans and their feline companions.

We designed a beautiful rosette crafted from feathers 🪶—this is the highest honor for cat owners, a true badge of pride celebrating the love and dedication they give every day. And then there's the treat: my son Stanford and I created a rosette made entirely of cat treats, crafted as an exclusive reward just for the cats themselves. 🐟🏆

One celebrates the human, one delights the feline—that's exactly what we set out to create. Here's to 75 years of the Hamilton Cat Club, and to many more!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Hamilton 75th Cat Show! ☕ A special Thank you to Trinity, owner of ELVES Kingfisher, for sponsoring the lovely coffee — and to Megan for finding such a delicious blend that everyone loved. It warmed us all up and brought everyone back to life on a cold winter morning. What a wonderful show! ✨🐱

We are incredibly proud to see our wonderful Elves Abyssinian family featured on Seven Sharp!
A huge congratulations to Sandy and Elves Rufus. ❤️
Sandy is a truly responsible and caring cat owner. By building a beautiful catio, she has created a safe and enriching environment for Rufus while also helping to protect New Zealand's precious native birds.
At Elves Abyssinian, we have always believed that responsible cat ownership and wildlife conservation can go hand in hand. Sandy and Rufus are a wonderful example of how cat lovers and bird lovers can coexist.
We are so proud to have owners like Sandy in our Elves family. Thank you for being such a fantastic ambassador for responsible cat ownership. 🧡🐈🐦

Is that a showing off face?

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE CAT 🚨

"I was not stuck. I was conducting a highly sophisticated investigation into the secret recipe."

First of all, the owner was trying to SAVE this furry criminal, not abuse him. The only victim in this video is the KFC. 🍗😹

Secondly, can we really blame him? KFC has been loved by generations of kids... and apparently fur kids too. Unfortunately, this little guy forgot one important detail:

🐱 = Cat
🍗 = Delicious
🧂 = Problem

As much as our cats think they're entitled to share everything we eat, KFC and other salty human foods are not suitable for cats. Too much salt, seasoning, and oil can be harmful to their health.

So while this fluffy food inspector may have won the battle against self-control, he definitely shouldn't make a habit of it.

Please remember:
✔️ Save cats from buckets.
✔️ Give cats cat treats.
❌ Do not let cats become Colonel Sanders.

Now let's all appreciate the determination of a cat who looked at a bucket of chicken and thought, "This seems like a challenge." 🤦‍♀️😂
