Quick update on Skye.
Cyclone Tam has knocked our power out and limited 4G coverage.
Ultrasound yesterday and this morning. Prepping for needing a C and she decided after lunch to get things going.
3 healthy boys. Pretty sure that she is done but will monitor her the next couple of hours.

🐾🐾 Litter Announcement 🐾🐾

Well, things are coming along quite nicely for our girl Skye, and we would like to announce that we have an impending litter for our Champion girl, CH Sivadanes Lady Midnight Skye ~ SKYE ~

Today we had a visit to the vet for x-ray for a confirmed puppy count.

How many do you see?

Skye is due April 14th. Her appetite is ravaging, she's incredibly sweet and already jumping in to her whelping box for rest.

Lots of puppy dust our way as we hope for a smooth time into motherhood for our girl.

Well what a weekend.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday saw 5 of the Sivadanes crew at Cambridge Kennel Association shows and The Great Dane Club NZ Specialty Show. Our specialty show a wonderful tribute in Memorial to Carol Clark. 💖

True highlight was Saturday at our specialty show under Specialty Judge, Jason M. Hoke (USA), Alariqus Fenix at Sivadanes ~Fenix ~ Awarded so incredibly highly with 🏆 RESERVE DOG 🏆, a lineup of Supreme Champion and Multiple Champion Dogs, aswell as achieving 🏆 Baby Puppy In Show 🏆 Friday Fenix also achieved Baby Puppy of Breed.

CH Sivadanes Daisy My True Love ~ Daisy ~ Awarded B***h Challenge, Reserve of Breed on Friday, and Challenge again on Sunday with Junior B***h of Breed.

CH Malibu Lady At Yacanto ~ Mali ~ came out of retirement for a return for our specialty show, Brood B***h of Show. Looking absolutely lovely and as if she had never left the ring. Massive thanks to Tricia Kraan for her able assistance with our gorgeous Mali for a big lineup of beautiful b!tches.

Sivadanes Charismas Finest ~ Zuri ~ Handled and Co-owned by Kirsty Houghton has ended Zuris Baby Puppy Career with a lovely wee 🏆 Baby Puppy of Group 🏆 under specialist Judge Jason Hoke on Sunday. Fenix and Zuri have had a lovely run, taking turns at stealing away the Baby Puppy of Breed. 2 for 2 each this weekend. Both with some Group wins under their belts.

Lovely wee Sivadanes Camila So Sweet ~ Mila ~ Made her debut with Gareth Williams this weekend also! Lovely team that we will hope to see continue and grow in the ring.

Fantastic new venue at Karapiro Domain for the CKA committee. A few bits and pieces to work out but hopefully back again same venue next year.

Spanky & Ziva, Sivadbullys Kennels joined us for the weekend away too.

This all comes as Sivadanes gets ready in one week to hear the pitter patter of tiny paws... 🐾🐾🐾

Sivadanes Charismas Finest (AI) ~ ZURI

These beautiful girls were troopers and enjoyed all of the attention from folks around the grounds.

Zuri stole away with 2 x Baby Puppy of Breed, 1 x Reserve B***h Challenge.

Daisy achieved 2 x B***h Challenges, one being the FCI A20 Excellent Graded Challenge also and 2 Reserve of Breeds. 2 NZ Bred of Breed aswell as Junior B***h of Breed.

Keep it up girls!! Looking lovely and enjoying their time in the ring with Kirsty Houghton and I.

Alariqus Fenix at Sivadanes (Imp Aus) (AI) ~ FENIX

What an amazing time this weekend at the Kumeu Kennel Association shows, including FCI A20 show. The highlight being under Breed Specialist Judge M. Wilkinson (Vic) on Saturday, Fenix achieved:

🏆 Best Dog of Breed
🏆 Baby Puppy of Breed

AND

🏆🏆 Baby Puppy of Group 🏆🏆

Such a little heart throb, stealing hearts wherever he goes. We are so pleased with his progress, his cool calm and collected temperament blowing us out of the water.

Hopefully more amazing results to come. Soon to be out of Baby Puppy and on to Puppy, where he will be eligible for Challenges.

Lovely to see Kayla starting to get back into the ring and you may see her running some Danes as she gets back into the swing of things.

Fenix has been taking show life all in his stride. Learning what to do, what to listen to, all the sights and sounds and fun of show life and travel.

Next shows in Cambridge, 3 show weekend and Daisy's first FCI show also, upcoming at the end of the month.

Oh wow. Loving these updates!!
At 16weeks old, weights averaging 24-25kg!

Harry (black boy) living his best life in Australia! Getting ready to start some puppy training and ring craft training. Living life with big brothers Floyd the Great Dane and Max the Labrador.

Cicero made it to Singapore and is setting in well with his new family! (Yellow collar boy)

Posh our black girl made it to Mums office. She has been exploring and adventuring around the horses and learning to live life on the go! Lots of cuddles and round.

Zuri is in a pack of 11, the laziest dog by far. Who wants to work when you can sleep! She ventured out with her skin mama to the shows in Auckland this weekend with sisters Daisy and Gracie. She had a ball playing with Fenix ringside. (Red collar girl)

Today it’s our turn to welcome a new baby to our kennels. We finally have a boy to add to the pack and it’s been a few years since we’ve had a male so I’m sure it will be exciting times for us.

Meet Alariqus Fenix at Sivadanes aka Fenix. We look forward to seeing what he can do.

Fenix has come to us all the way from Perth so he’s had a big journey and already settling in like a trooper.

SIVADANES CHICKPEA CICERO

Singapore bound....his travel has begun.
First stop was True Vets Ormiston where he got another wormer, topical flea treatment, check over complete and stamp of approval with Fit to Fly. The team at Aircare Pets have more precious cargo on board with our sweet Cicero. Stealing hearts. He gets 2 puppy sleepovers and will Fly out Wednesday morning!

His little heart was a beating but in no time he was calm and looking for loads of cuddles and kisses. Lovely to see Jenn and the team, as this where Cicero was conceived via AI!!! 🤣😍🐾

Some fun out and about yesterday for some of the pack.
Cicero is really missing Posh. Less than a week and he will be on his way home already to Singapore! In the meantime he has fun with little Spanky the bulldog.
