Auckland Puppy Rescue We rescue puppies, foster them with caring families, then adopt them to great new homes. Want to adopt a puppy? Want to foster a puppy?

We'd love to hear from you! We are a registered charitable trust - CC50834 We help unwanted puppies, keeping them safe and warm by placing them into responsible, loving foster homes. We provide them with the training and care they deserve before we find them great new homes. We support de-sexing to avoid bringing more unwanted pups into the world. Unwanted puppies are often taken away from mum too

early, and sold or given away with no concern as to where they end up. Unfortunately, in many cases those puppies end up either dumped, abused or life-chained - and often when those pups end up in the wrong hands the cycle of unwanted litters begins again. We need your help to stop the cycle to help give all puppies the best start in life.

✨ Staffy / Terrier / Whippet Cross | Male | Born 28 February ✨

Despite his name, Turbo is actually one very chilled-out little guy! 😎🐾

Turbo has a beautiful, calm nature and takes the world in his stride. He’s playful and curious, but gentle and respectful — he’s great with children of all ages and loves spending time with both his humans and his doggy friends. 🥰🐶

He absolutely loves his cuddles and is happiest when he’s close to his people. 💙 He’s also shown lovely interest in meeting cats, approaching them with curiosity while remaining friendly and gentle. 🐱💕

Turbo is generally a very quiet and chilled puppy, although he’ll happily let you know when he thinks a bark is needed! 😂 Otherwise, he’s pretty content just enjoying life and being his sweet little self.

🌙 At bedtime, Turbo is a star! He sleeps independently in his crate overnight, giving everyone a peaceful night’s sleep. 💤🐾

Like all puppies, he’s still learning the ropes and working on:
🦮 Walking nicely on a lead
🚽 Toileting outside
🍽️ Slowing down when he eats (because apparently food is VERY exciting! 😂)

Turbo is looking for a loving family who will continue guiding him as he grows and give him plenty of cuddles, playtime and adventures along the way. 🏡💙

Sweet, gentle, playful and wonderfully chilled — Turbo is ready to find his forever people. 🥹🐾

Don’t let her name fool you, Wee Girl has a BIG personality! 🥹💕

This confident little girl is playful, curious and full of puppy energy. She loves exploring, going on adventures and, most importantly, having FUN! 🎾🐾

Tug toys are a definite favourite, she’s always up for a good game of tug-of-war and loves playing with all kinds of toys. She’s even learning how to fetch! 🧸💕

Wee Girl has a lovely balance of independence and affection. She enjoys doing her own thing and exploring the world, but is always happy to spend time with her people and loves a cuddle when her humans initiate one. 🥰 Once she’s had a good play, she’s quite happy to settle down too.

She’s doing beautifully with her toilet training and is learning all those important puppy skills, including recall, crate training, appropriate chewing and fetch. She already knows sit and is eager to keep learning! 🐾✨

She has had positive experiences with other dogs and is a friendly little girl with everyone she’s met. She’s comfortable travelling in the car, enjoys walks and adventures, and takes everyday household noises in her stride. 🌿🚗

Wee Girl would love an active family who will keep her little body busy and her clever brain engaged, continue her training and include her in plenty of adventures, playtime and cuddles. ❤️

She might be called Wee Girl… but there’s nothing wee about the amount of personality and love she has to give! 🥹💕

A little bundle of puppy love looking for her forever home 💕

Parker’s story began in the most unexpected way. She was found at the Ayr Street entrance to Newmarket Park after a little girl heard crying coming from the bushes. Moments later, this gorgeous little bundle of puppy love came barreling out. 🥹💕

There was no sign of an owner or any other puppies, and despite our best efforts, nobody came forward to claim her. So Parker has been with us ever since — and we’ve had plenty of joy having her here. 🥰

Parker is an absolute delight! She is happy, playful, friendly and full of love. 💕 She adores dogs, cats, people, cuddles, food and pretty much anything she can chase, chew or play with! 🎾🧸

She’s also proving to be a wonderful little sleeper, sleeping right through the night before waking up ready for cuddles. 🥹

We may not know where Parker came from, but we do know one thing — this little girl has so much love to give. 💕

🍪 A Little Moment We’ve Been Waiting For 🐾❤️

After the horror of the past few days, these little moments feel incredibly special. 🥹❤️‍🩹

Our beautiful brothers Chunky & Chewy are back together in the garden, side by side on their bed, happily chewing on a piece of cardboard together like two perfectly content little puppies. 🍪🐶🍪🐶

And because it’s a rainy day today, these two cheeky boys are playing together under their blanket! 🥹☔️💕

It might seem like such a simple thing - two puppies chewing cardboard and playing together - but after everything these boys have been through, seeing them comfortable, happy and enjoying each other’s company means the absolute world.

Those happy little faces, wagging tails and little bursts of puppy mischief are such beautiful signs that they’re healing and that some of their energy and spirit is returning. ❤️‍🩹

It’s hard to believe how poorly they were just days ago. They’ve fought incredibly hard, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has been beside them through it all.

Thank you for every donation, message, share and positive thought you sent their way. 🙏💗

For now, we’re just going to enjoy watching these two little Chocolate Chip Cookies do what puppies do best…

Be together, chew things they probably shouldn’t, play under blankets and enjoy being puppies. 🍪🐾❤️

🔥✨ Meet Burn ✨🔥

Female | Staffy / Terrier / Whippet Cross | Medium Sized | Born February 2026

Burn is a bright, energetic girl with a busy brain and a huge zest for life! 🔥🐾

She’s incredibly curious and wants to be friends with absolutely everyone and everything that moves — big or small! She’s playful, enthusiastic and loves a good wrestle, sometimes forgetting just how big her puppy enthusiasm can be. 😂 She’s a teenage girl, so she’s also testing those boundaries and learning her manners along the way.

Burn is very food motivated, which makes training lots of fun! And if there’s no treat available, she’s quite happy to accept cuddles as a little extra encouragement. 🥰

She already has some lovely foundations — she sleeps through the whole night in her crate, sits nicely for food and treats, and she’s continuing to work on her loose-leash walking.

Burn would love an active family who can keep her body exercised and her clever brain busy. She could potentially be an only dog, or live with another confident, playful dog who can keep up with her and help her learn — but a home without small dogs would be best given her energetic play style.

We don’t think Burn is the right match for first-time dog owners. She’ll thrive with someone who understands teenage dogs, can give her consistent guidance and boundaries, and will enjoy helping her grow into the wonderful adult dog she’s going to be. ❤️

🔥 Burn has plenty of fire, plenty of fun and a whole lot of love to give. Now she just needs the right person to help her shine. 🏡💗
