In Loving Memory of Puzzle ⭐️
On Sunday, we said goodbye to a huge part of our clinic family – our sweet friend, Puzzle.
As a young puppy, Puzzle was diagnosed with renal dysplasia. A condition where the kidneys don’t form properly. It’s something she was born with, and sadly, it meant her kidneys couldn’t work the way they needed to. There’s no cure, only careful management and lots of love — both of which she had in abundance.
Despite the odds, Puzzle packed a lifetime of love and memories into her 2 and a bit years. She was no stranger to weekly clinic visits, where she’d happily come in to check her blood pressure and adjust her medications as needed, tail always wagging… Even on the days we knew she wasn’t feeling her best.
She had a way of charming absolutely everyone, both with her gentle spirit and her incredible resilience. That tail of hers never stopped wagging!
Most of all, Puzzle was incredibly lucky to have the best human by her side. A devoted and loving owner who gave her everything she could ever need – from the best veterinary care to an endless supply of love, sandy beach adventures, and the occasional McDonalds drive through visit (I mean when you know your life is going to be short, why not?!)
She made a promise to Puzzle: that she would never let her suffer. And she kept that promise with a heart full of courage
After one last trip to the beach on Sunday morning, Puzzle came in for her final visit — wet, sandy, full of kisses.
Alongside her Mum and surrounded by the team who adored her, we held her paw, shed more than a few tears, and stood by her side as she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge.
Puzzle, you bought everyone around you so much joy. You taught us about love, resilience, and how to find happiness in every tail wag and cuddle.
You will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever a part of our clinic family ❤️🩹
