An extremely demanding course from start to finish, with plenty of questions and every fence right up to height and width the whole way around🙈

Jack was absolutely fab and answered every question without hesitation 🍫

To come away with 3rd place is the cherry on top 🥉✨ So proud of this incredible horse and everything he continues to give

Luhmühlen Horse Trials

An unforgettable week competing at Luhmühlen with Jack, who gave me his all every step of the way in only his second 4*. He absolutely stormed around a tough cross country track, coming home just 4 seconds over the time.

I’m gutted to have let him down in the show jumping the two rails were on me, and he didn’t deserve them. But I’m so proud of how far we’ve come, and I can’t wait for what’s next.

Massive thank you to Clarke for all his help in every phase, and for making it possible for Jack and me to compete at these amazing events.

The best support crew!

So happy with how Jack went yesterday, gutted with the mark but looking forward to Saturday which is looking to be a very tough track

First event of the season completed and couldn’t have kicked it off much better.

Double clear and 2nd place in the Novice at Cirencester yesterday, finishing on our dressage score of 27.5 🤩

11 years with the legend Diego! Wouldn’t be were I am today without this horse 🥹 he’s now 26 and enjoying his retirement looking after the young horses at home 💙

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trial 🏰
(Long spiel ahead 😂)

Who would’ve thought 4 years ago when I picked up a tiny 4 year old Jack we’d be here 🤯
The little man was a superstar all weekend in his very first 4* and only his 3rd event on UK soil, doing a nice solid test unfortunately I messed up his first change which is such a shame as he is usually so solid with them! A little disappointed with the score but happy with how he went and he’s only getting stronger.

Show jumping he jumped his little socks off for a beautiful clear around a tough track where only a quarter of the class jumped clear

Cross country was big from the get go but very fair questions and he just tackled it like he always does! Forgives me for my mistakes and just does all he can to jump between the flags. Was never in the plan to ride for the time, really wanted to make sure that both me and Jack had time to organise and set up for the combinations without the time pressure.

Want to say a massive thank you to everyone that has helped and supported us getting here. To Harry Meade Eventing for all your help and settling some nerves, also Harry’s team Molly and Jess for their support at the event.

First UK show done ✅

Jacko and I completed our first show yesterday at just went for an easy run around the Novice. Definitely had some rusty moments and I need to learn how to ride a dressage test in a 20x40 arena!
Jack jumped amazing though just adding some planned xc time faults to drop us out of the top ten in our first run back, looking forward to stepping up to intermediate at our next show
