HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS

So we’ve all been dealing with a groomer’s ‘white Christmas’ and a lot more! We are feeling completely frazzled and our equipment also needs some love too.

That’s why we wanted to let you know we are open for sharpening during the holidays, so other than christmas, boxing and new years day (and relying on the courier system) we are available, so please send us your blades if they need sharpening and we can get them serviced before you return to work in the new year.

Not long now til we all drop!! Hang in there!! x

We have had an awesome time at . So good to talk ‘everything grooming’ all weekend, sharing knowledge and experiences and having lots of fun along the way.

Congratulations to all that competed. A really inspiring event, especially if you feel you need your passion for grooming reignited!

We are really excited to showcase the GEM scissor brand. Come and try them out. See how they feel in the hand. You won’t be disappointed.

Diamond Cut Clipper Blades
We are proud stockists of Diamond Cut grooming products. We will have a variety of clipper blades for sale.

Storage items for use in your salon. Who doesn’t need more storage?!

Clipper blade sharpening Drop off
There will be a blade drop off point again and for any that you personally drop off to us at Groomwars you will receive a 15% discount. Unfortunately we are not able to sharpen onsite at the event.

Demos on the various ways to adjust your blades/solve issues like noisy blades/clippers etc.

As well as the above, we will have a fun photo opportunity (dress up optional!) and Guess the Breed game with prizes/discounts drawn each day.

Lastly, guess the number of Treats in the Jar for your chance to win a pair of GEM scissors valued at over $250, winner notified at the end of the event !!!

All we ask is for a donation to our chosen charity ‘Vadas Angels Animal Rescue’ to take part in each activity.

Mark has now returned from Sydney, where he went to further his knowledge in clipper blade sharpening with the very skilled and expert sharpener Scott Campbell, co-owner/creator of the GEM (Grooming Equipment Maintenance) page and 'Un-blunt Sharpening Services' of 25yrs+! Some very exciting news we would like to share with you all. Mark is off to Sydney to further his knowledge in clipper blade sharpening with a very well respected and highly experienced sharpener of 20+ years, Scott Campbell, the man behind GEM scissors and the GEM FB page and Un-Blunt Sharpening, that has helped many of us with his wealth of knowledge.

Mark will be away for a week. If you would like any sharpening done, could you please hold off sending any blades to us until Friday 1st Aug, when he will be back in action. Thanks so much!
