Took pups to visit their handsome, stunning, gorgeous, showstopping sweetheart of an uncle today. Their father Arlo’s twin and littermate. The wonderful Ollie. And also Ollie’s housemate George … who has a very nice personality. 🤭 I love both of them and get to walk the beach with them often. Knew they would be perfect for the pups’ first visit and play with new dogs. They did not disappoint. Pups had a wonderful new experience. Ollie is a testament to the amazing family who took him home and poured training into him when he was a pup. Train them when they are young and trust them for a lifetime❤️

Pups big adventure today was a trip to Thors Wet Paws Hydrotherapy in Te Puke for their first swimming lesson. Carrie was first up. She took a deep breath, said Jesus Take the Wheel and walked right in. Kenny definitely had an Islands in the Stream 🏝️ vibe happening. Calm, cool and collected he was happy as a fish. Dolly, sadly, was not interested in a duet. She thought it was more of a 9 to 5 gig and Reba let everyone know she’d rather Walk On. But Faith set the example telling her siblings to just Breathe and Shania was a superstar and you could tell that Man, she felt like a Woman. Big Chuck (Koda) hung out happily like he had No Particular Place to Go.
The team at Thors were amazing. This littler + 2 nieces = chaos and they were so patient and gave the pups a great first experience. If you have a hydrotherapy near you check it out. From learning to swim property, to dealing with joint/development/movement issues, to helping arthritis and injury pain, it’s a great tool to keep our dogs living their best life!

Rainy day indoor adventures today. Pups went to Mitre10 to experience sliding doors, checkout beeps, friendly strangers and lots of new smells. Then my nieces arrived for a visit and that’s when I realised how much they have grown! They look huge now! Finishing up with playing with the only dog who will have anything to do with them right now. Poor Hannah. They don’t respect her, just like the sheep.

The pups thought this was great. Hannah and Moses got left behind for a good bath and brush and weren’t quite so enthusiastic. But they looked and smelled SO much better!

Pups big adventure today was to Beach Dogs to experience the sights, sounds and smells of a groomer. They did so well! Even with the dryer on 🐩 🐶

Red is learning the misery of her child’s first instrument. Dogs just don’t hide it as well as humans. If she can’t get them off she will just have to destroy it. I should have consulted her before I named them all after country music stars.

Pups have had a big sixth week! First vet visit, first car adventures, first time through car wash, first drive thru (and chicken nuggets🤩), two play dates with dad, rainy day scent and unbrella games, first meaty bones, first time shutting door on crates, first play with the gorgeous Hank next door and kids, kids kids!!😀

This video is not what it seems. Hannah is actually such a smart Aussie she is teaching the lambs to be herded using reverse psychology. Keep it up Hannah. One day the silly lambs will figure it out. 🐑 🐕

Pups had a big day today. First vet check and shots (everybody passed with flying colours, successfully peed all over the floor, Reba earned her ‘little Monster’ title and poor Daisy the vet nurse needs new pants as her work ones are now full of holes- but all in all a good experience for the pups at least. Not so sure about the vet). And then they had their first play date with dad Arlo who was wonderful with them, and some great kid therapy❤️

Hey South Islanders! I’m always amazed at all your dog friendly spots, and just found out you even have a dog friendly ski field at Mt Lyford. How cool is that??? Im so jealous. You guys are lucky!! Here’s some pics of Benji with his mum and friend Otis loving the snow ❄️ ⛄️
