Your dog must be social, well mannered and used to being kennelled.

They will need to be brought in twice this week. Once for a day stay and then once for the day including overnight as their trial visit.

Our Christmas photos are soooo cute!

The past few weeks have just been insane for all of us here however this did bring us ALOT of joy in between sick children and everyday hits that life is throwing at us right now.

The dogs absolutely love this and so do we! It makes me wonder if we should do more celebration shoots throughout the year.. What are your thoughts?

Dear Clients,

We are writing to let you know about an upcoming adjustment to our pricing, effective for any Cat and Dog boarding bookings from 1 December 2025.

Please note that bookings already invoiced and paid for prior to this date will not be affected. For example, if you have already paid for your pet’s stay over the Christmas period running into January 2026, the original rate will still apply.

The change comes after a significant rise in operational costs, including wages, goods, and general expenses. Our last increase for our Boarding facility was 18 months ago, and while we have done our best to absorb these costs, this revision is necessary to ensure the continued, sustainable operation of our facility.

Our team of qualified staff bring an extensive level of experience in animal health, care and behaviour. Helping to ensure every pet receives the best possible care throughout their stay.

We are also very proud of the beautiful property that our facility is built upon. The calming, natural space and rural setting is crucial for helping your pets feel comfortable and allows for a seamless integration into our facility. Naturally, the upkeep of such a space is a substantial and ongoing cost.

Our mission has always been to provide the highest standard of care within the industry, and this increase ensures we can continue to access the resources required to uphold that promise.

Exciting Updates

We have recently made several improvements to our facilities, with more planned in the coming months.

β€’ New kennel and cattery units have been installed.
β€’ The cattery area has been revamped for improved comfort.
β€’ A collection and drop-off service for boarding clients is now available (subject to availabilityβ€”please enquire when booking).

My name is Faye Carey and I am a Dog Trainer based in Pukekohe, South Auckland. I am one of only a few qualified Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partners (KPA CTP) β€˜s in NZ and I am proud to be apart of the academy.
