North Canterbury Equine Reproduction was founded by Mitzi Taylor, a dedicated school mum and veterinarian, in 2013, this small breeding facility on Woodfields Road specializes in a range of equine reproductive services. They offer artificial insemination using both fresh and frozen semen, ovarian and uterine ultrasound examinations for breeding and pregnancy, as well as Caslick procedures. As a boutique facility, they provide personalized care for each mare throughout the breeding cycle, utilizing various techniques to maximize her chances of conception. Mares can either visit for scans or stay on-site for the duration of their treatments. They are always exploring new ways to make the breeding experience easier for all involved.
