I really did want to go to bed early. Making sure the puppies were calm took a while, AFTER cleaning the room.
Then probably an hour of pi***ng around watching "mindless stupid reels", cause I wasn't in the mood to make a video, I finally started.

I knew those with puppies would want to know how is going with the crating and honestly, it's up there with the worst I can remember but hey, there are a few of them ... and if one starts, then another goes off!!
That's why I was doing 5 nights. I'm sure we will nab it ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Poodle Vet Visits tomorrow. I'm so hoping for no issues. I say this because I know 3 are smaller than the other 3. Emilys mother was a lot smaller than she is though. A TRUE toy poodle size.
Emily is a bit on the taller size, down from her dad Reign. He's a gem of a nature though and great genetics.

Right enough Ellie. GO TO BED!
Bloody heck, Timmy cat just went past and knocked over the little table my coffee was on. Not happy...

I started from tonight and went backwards so it sounds a bit like I repeated myself in the middle. If it was earlier, I would have re edited... but I'm done for today sorry.

Vet Visit today went really well.
Surprise—Louie is the heaviest. Surprise again—Violet is the lightest.

"Ellie" and "Florence" both had a grade 1 out of 6 heart murmur. I’m not very concerned about this, as they’re still very young and growing. I’m confident both will have disappeared by their next Vet Visit around the 3rd of October.

NIGHT TIME. Quiet 🤫

I'm not sure if my cat analogy was super clear. I try to make the point that "nature" is more rewarding, long b term, than good looks.
So many good looking female cats are have horrible natures!! I guess the same can sometimes be said for pretty girls. Stunning on the outside but you don't get much back, from the inside.
Temperament and health are definately preferable to "just" good looks.

I totally believe the socialising and start of a puppy's life dictates SO MUCH.

We have had so much trouble with other breeders puppies and put it down, to exactly what I've just said.

Handling, familiarlarities with different noises and different people and all the other dogs here, is super good for their early development learning and "confidence" especially.

That "Dali" needs an award. She's so tiny but so confident!!

TAHLIA it's expecting 2 puppies. HOPE it's expecting 6.

There possibly are 1or 2 puppies still available, depending on how many are male and female.

The girls all cycle about the same time. This is why there are so many litters at the same time.

My intention has always been to breed quality, healthy dogs with gentle temperaments. It's so rewarding to see and hear how excited people get.

Everything we make from puppy sales is still going back into our breeding program. Tomorrow a new sleepout/ cabin is arriving for the boys. Hopefully it's more sound proof than the caravan has been. When the girls are in season, the boys can be pretty annoying.

I'm honored to have a wait list. It's super great meeting families prior to puppies being born. We love the process of people coming on Saturdays and witnessing the weekly growth and changes. The majority of new owners seem to now be in Canterbury, but not all.

National travel is no issue at all.
