🎉A BIG WARM WELCOME TO AMY 🎉

Amy is originally from Rotorua and recently returned to New Zealand after spending time in England, where she traveled throughout Europe and worked at a veterinary clinic in Oxford.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her dog, Ruby, and being around her horses.

Amy is excited to be joining the CC Vets team and looks forward to meeting all the wonderful clients and their furry companions.

This week Central City Vets is saying goodbye to our amazing teammate, Natalie, as they wrap up their time with us after 11 years.

Natalie has been such an important part of our clinic family. Our pets are truly going to miss the care and love they received from them at every visit – you could always count on Natalie to treat each furry friend as if they were their own.

While we’ll miss seeing her around, we’re so excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things the future holds for Natalie.

Thank you, Natalie, for everything you’ve given during your time here – you’ll always be part of our family. 💙

Jami is our newest vet! Jami comes from Northland (right up the top of the North Island) in a dairy farming town called Dargaville, and grew up with a wide variety of species from goats, through to cats and dogs and various exotic rabbits, birds and reptiles, and even frogs! You'll most likely catch Jami around the clinic wearing one of their own colourful home made designer scrubs. When not vetting Jami can often be found at the sewing machine making yet more salubrious scrubs, playing on their retro gaming consoles, hobby gardening, or in the kitchen experimenting with jams, chutneys and other preserves!

Jami is fond of most species - furry, feathered or scaled, but will admit to having a special interest in treating exotic animal species such as small mammals, birds and reptiles, and has gained experience in treating these species with several specialist clinics during their Veterinary training. Jami is looking forward to meeting Rotorua's beloved pets (of all varieties!) and their companion humans!
