For anyone who may be looking for an adult stafford, check this out and contact Stafflands SBT if you are interested.
We have one of the boys we have bred looking for a different home life. He is neutered, healthy, 4years old.
Abit about this kid (from his family): loves cuddles and being as close as he can to his human. Great with kids, and babies. Has grown up with two young boys and older female dog. LOVES car rides and is very calm in the car: it’s his zen space. Loves the beach and finding feathers to carry around and digging play. Loves toys, balls and tug. Food driven so loves training and pleasing. Has attended daycare since 1year old but due to family relocation that hasnt happened as often lately. Has never had an issue with other dogs at daycare, and has been fine on pack walks as well.
He would suit a dedicated owner with lots of time to invest in training and love him. A less busy and chaotic household with more attention on him. Perhaps no young children or other animals so he is the focus. Someone who can walk, run, train him daily and give him more opportunities and stimulation to grow as a dog.
Reason for rehome: He is a very energetic and exciteable boy and this is turning into anxiety. While he walks lovely on both a flexi lead and a normal lead, he is developing lead aggression when other dogs come into his periphery, so this needs working on. As much as his humans love him, and they REALLY do, there is a realisation that he needs more than what a busy young working family can offer him right now. There is the odd bad habit that is creeping in (will discuss in more detail with potential new families), so he is going to need a quiet home with someone who will spend time with him, attend training – my recommendation is to start with one-on-one specific training sessions. He is a lovely boy and just needs help to find his best self. There will be a small rehoming fee, but this is negotiable with his owner and will reflect the fact that his new people will need to invest in him with training and time. No desperate rush to rehome – he is loved and fine were he is and his new family home has to be right, but now this extremely difficult decision to rehome has been made - soon is also good. Located Auckland.
So if you know of anyone who meets our high standards of dog ownership 🙂 please get in touch with me in the first instance and I will pass on details of his owner. This has been a very difficult decision so kindness please. Located Auckland.
