HELP NEEDED

Labour weekend is always a difficult time to find helpers, as most seem to have plans.

Can you help me for a couple of hours or longer at Ngatimoti Festival on the 25th of October.

We will be hoping to bring pippi our little friendly goat, have an information table, and sell second-hand items to raise funds.

I will also need support on the 5th of December for the Motueka A&P Show and again in the Golden Bay amp show on the 15th of January.

We are also looking at the quality second hand items to sell the fundraiser, home produce, tins of food, drinks and lollies etc to add to our Tombola.

Please pm me or Whatsapp 0275268771 or email: [email protected]

🧡 So, a couple of years ago I experienced online bullying when I shared a post of one of my animals. There were a handful of people from the Tasman region and beyond who got onto a bandwagon, criticizing the animals condition. They were uneducated personal comments to me, slanderous and painful to the point where I cried and questioned what I was doing. Some put complaints into the police, and the SPCA, and the farming police.

🧡 The SPCA came out and it seemed they could not close the case without me having to pay for a vet check, this obviously cost me money and time. The vet passed the animal as healthy.

🧡 I saw a post the other day about the Sacrifice of this poor lady and her devistated partner who now has to live with her loss because she could not cope with the escalating bullying and decided to commit su***de.

This morning I found this post of this beautiful lady who gives up her time and life to rescue suffering animals at the hands of humans.

So today I share an 🧡 to make a statement, that compassion and kindness is a choice that we must all demand. We will NOT accept this kind of social media behaviour. Charities & Not-4 Profit show your 🧡 in respect.

Any negative or nasty comments, just reply with an orange 🧡 no 🙂‍↔️ words or explanation. It will stop the bullies in their tracks.

Here at the Hidden Valley Farm NZ Hamlet you'll find an environment where you can relax and have a good old-fashioned Barbie, while embracing nature and our incredibly memorizing starscapes. Watch the moon as it floats by and then experience the sunset at its absolute best.

Jim is here removing the fire pit slow cook casserole, as we do in the countryside, ready for a good old chow down.

Check out our website and simple booking system.
