The dog hospital at the brand new Springlands Veterinary Centre in Blenheim looks very smart with our cages installed. Congratulations to Jeremy and the team for creating such a great new clinic and continuing to help the furry friends of Blenheim. Jeremy sent a lovely email to us recently with some nice feedback on our cages - The new kennels and cattery units have been fantastic. They look impressive and are easy to clean!

Tips for lowering stress in caged cats:
Lowering stress in caged cats is very important and can assist with ease of handling and aid in faster recovery from illness. We have many Low Stress cage options available.
Here are a few tips:
- Cats like an alternate place to sleep like a shelf and most like to have a little privacy (our cat cabins work well for this)
- Familiar items with scents from home like a bed, blanket or item of clothing
- Reducing handling wherever you can
- Having the same 1 or 2 carers if possible
- Try to avoid cats facing each other or increase distance wherever you can
- Open cage doors slowly and carefully to help reduce loud noises
- Try to have quiet times where they can have a chance to rest
- Comfortable bedding - cats love a nest!
- Keep litter trays clean and as far away from bedding as you can

We have great feedback from rescue centres that our cages with shelves and centre dividers have helped them rehome more cats because they are so much happier and friendly helping them find the potential forever home faster.

Our high quality cages work well for so many applications including keeping dogs safe on the Interislander and Bluebridge Ferrys.
