Pet Love Kapiti Qualified Vet Nurse/animal lover available to take care of your animals when you can't. Pet feeding 1x daily $20 (checking on, cuddles and a chat).

Pet feeding 2x daily $30

Dog walking 1/2 hour $20
Dog walking 1 hour $35 (with or without other dogs for socialisation). Dog feeding 1x plus 1/2 hour walk $30 per day. Doggy daycare (conditions apply and limited spaces) $30 1/2 day $50 full day. Transport to vet appointments, grooming/bathing and medical appointments on enquiry. Nail clipping $20

Hutch/coop cleaning on enquiry. Horse feeding and other rural animals on request.

PARVO IS DOING THE ROUNDS AGAIN NZ😭

Parvo is an incredibly contagious killer in dogs. It is a hard, expensive and distressing road to recovery for those that get treatment in time. And a sad and painful death for those that don't. Vaccinating your dog is not a guarantee, but it is your best chance of keeping your fur baby safe from Parvovirus.

Please please be careful with your pets. We see so many unvaccinated dogs and pups in communities. They are incredibly vulnerable to this dreaded and deathly virus, it spreads like wildfire.

Please if your pup or dog is not fully vaccinated do not take him to a public area or street where other dogs are likely to have been and toileted. Or to a friend's property unless you know their dogs vaccination history.

Keeping him in your bubble is not enough. Even if he has no direct contact with other dogs, the virus is extremely contagious and they can pick it up through indirect contact with objects or surfaces that have been contaminated with infected faeces....even your shoes!

If your pup looks subdued, is vomiting or has diarrhea, especially if there is blood. Isolate your situation and call your vet immediately. they will make time for you....If your vet won't help, call another. There are many success stories treating parvo, especially if it's treated early.
