James's Heritage Poultry I am a small heritage poultry breeder.. Been breeding heritage birds since 2011. I can supply day old chicks right up to 9-12 week old pullets.

Heat pads. 40 x 40cm. They still work as I had them all on. They have been in storage since Feb this year as I no longer breed chooks. One has broken legs but still has enough hight for upto 3-4 weekers. You can purchase new legs from The Chookyard Ltd in Glenbrook. PICK UP ONLY. Retail $159 each wanting $170 for all 3 of them or $65 for the ones with who legs and broken legs for $40 LOCATED Aka Aka.

My poor layers are homeless after the big storm last night so this weekend is rebuilding time and ordered a new solid built coop.. watch this space. Lucky I have a small area to keep them in for now but not for long.

These have all be vaccinated for mareks and are living outside.
Feed on sharpes pullet grower and chick crumble mixed with kibbled maize and wheat.

I don't have time to meet pet bus and cash on pick up.
These are some of the last pullets I have as I'm not breeding anymore

Breeding groups are not available to view as I no longer have them.

All becoming so real now. Many birds went yesterday, a few auctions on TM finishing today then I'll be listing more things, like heats pads and lamps and more chooks.

James's Heritage Poultry closing down so my much loved incubator and hatcher is up for grabs.

Both work great as did my last hatch 2 weeks ago.

380 incubator is 4.5 years old and little rust spot at the bottom which hubby rust painted and hatcher I only got this season.
Loved this machine and have incubated loads of chicks.

Fans have just been replaced in the 380.

Comes with humidity sponges, pumps (but needs new tubing). Some tubing and magnetic strips for the doors.

This is a hard decision to part with these but life is just way to busy with full time work and farming.

Must pick up from Aka Aka inbetween Waiuku and Pukekohe

Need to be picked up before 9th January

The heritage birds have more nicer personalities and find don't mess your place up as much as the commercial breed. Its taken me a little time to pick what breeds I love to own as over the years I have tried out many but now I keep Barred Plymouth Rock, Speckled Sussex, Rhode Island Reds, Buff Plymouth Rock and Blue/Standard Laced Barnevelders.

Later this season I will have Salmon Faverolles added to my list of breeds. I do from time to time have other breeds but they will be eggs I buy in to hatch. My birds are all kept in very large pens and have the rotation out free ranging on the farm and are on automatic feeders. I can supply Fertile eggs and day old chicks right up to 9-12 week old pullets.
