Palmerston and Waihemo A&P Show Thank you to all our members and supporters By 1882 all the shows were held in Palmerston. Membership: We would love to have you as a member for $10 a year.

Spring show on the 20 September 2025 
The next Palmerston & Waihemo A&P Show will be 31st Jan 2026. The Palmerston & Waihemo A & P Association held its first show way back in 1866 in Waikouaiti and it alternated with Palmerston for a number of years. Please contact the secretary for further information. general.palmerst

Our next show dates are first weekend in February 2026. Check out showdayonline to register as a member and join the show. Glad to have you aboard. We look forward to seeing you as a member and/or competitor. We are currently looking for exhibitors and stall holders (trade or artisan or “foodie”) so please get in touch with the secretary in the first instance . All entries can go to [email protected]

Notice of AGM: Members and non members are cordially invited to the AGM of the Palmerston Waihemo A & P Assn to be held on Sunday 27th July at 4pm in the Waihemo Lodge dining room.
As per Government requirements we will be passing a new constitution. If you want to read it a copy is available from the [email protected].
Refreshments & nibbles will be available after the meeting.

A Mini craft market is sharing our car show day based in the sports hall Gilligan st tomorrow. The stores at the craft market include wooden crafts, handmade cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, wool, soaps, and lots of other handcrafted items.
It’s a great time to stock up on nice things for Christmas, because - you know it - it’ll be Christmas before we realise it. 
Entry is $5 to the craft market and show combined. Great value - you can’t get a coffee for that price now.

Don’t forget the car show on tomorrow in Palmerston at the Showgrounds in Gilligan Street. Please come along and vote for your favourites. We have $100 cash prizes for four categories of peoples choice generously sponsored by Warren‘s garage and towing. We need your votes for best car, best motorcycle, best tractor, and best display overall.

NEW: Mini Craft Market in the hall.

Vehicle entry & registration at the gate at 33 Gilligan Street 8.30am - 10am.
Gates open to the public 10am - 1pm at the main gate 55 Gilligan St. $5 per adult - kids free.
