Thanks to guidance from Horseyoga we'll be offering horse yoga this season lots to learn but hey you have to start somewhere. If your keen to stop and slow down book some time to practice yoga with our horses.

The biggest lesson I ever learned didn’t come from a textbook. It came from standing in a muddy field, holding the lead rope of a horse who wouldn’t move.

And suddenly, I realised—it’s never about getting there fast.
It’s about learning how to stand still without giving up.
It’s about taking one small step—then another.
It’s about not quitting, even when it feels like nothing is changing.

You wouldn’t rush a nervous pony.
You’d meet them where they are, every single time.
You’d speak softly. You’d give them space.
You’d celebrate the tiniest shift.

So why don’t we treat ourselves like that?

At Equimotional, we know this:
Progress isn’t always visible.
But it’s always happening.

Bit by bit.
Breath by breath.
Hoofprint by hoofprint.

Stop trying to gallop up the mountain in three months.
Be okay with grazing your way there over three years.

Mid winter update
Over the last month we've
Had few rides.
All horses had dentals done
Dee and Nancy competed in 2nd Telford winter showjumping series bringing home a few ribbons.
Crystals been treated for ulcers and was scoped today more treatment needed.

Winter has hit us with a vengeance . . . wild windy wet weather and slippery ground conditions upon us, we are winding down our 2024-25 season. ☀️⛈️⛅️🌧🌦🌨⚡️🌬❄️🌈

We have a few bookings already booked to finish the season and if weather and ground conditions allows could take a few more people if booked in advance and weather allows us to do so safely. We turned down 4 today, bit cold and wet for enjoyment!

💥💥We will be closed for winter and early spring opening again on 1 October 💥💥

Few changes coming for next season so watch this space for updates.

Photo dump of last few weeks. Autumn as usual has been busy hands on keeping hay up to horses as weather gets colder(think we need to make enough money to buy a tractor boy would it save some time and energy! 😉), general maintenance, administration and rehabbing injured and sore horses, we are lucky to have assess to several options to cover our teams needs.

Baz and Lance went to Mane for body and nerve realease work last week along with 2 SIT Telford Campus Equine students who spent 4 days with us, giving them the opportunity to practice exercises taught by Beck with thier asigned horses.

We had visit from Neil of Saddle Solutions yesterday who checked saddle fit on horses and reflocked as necessary, impressed with his knowledge, care and attention to horses overall wellbeing and how it affects saddle fit, he took one saddle away for work.

Friday Jane and Sarg got some Masterson Method body work done while Dee and Nancy headed out in wild weather for a 2 hour beach and farm ride . . . total contrast to previous Friday's sunset ride.🌨🌧🌫🌪🌊

Horses have dentals to look forward to this month.

Now is great time to buy vouchers for next season before prices go up to help cover increasing costs.

Today Friday again we have wild wet windy weather . . . Winter has arrived stay warm.
