Come on down this Saturday 29/5 to Bunnings Silverdale and support Orewa Lions who will be sizzling fundraising sausages. Hot Diggety Dog Show is postponed until spring but it doesn't mean we can't support our nominated charity in the meantime - Coast Pet Care. Chunky and Possyum donated dog food, originally destined for the Orewa Lions Club Hot Diggety Dog Show which sadly had to be cancelled due to bad weather in April, has been gratefully received by animal rescues Pixies and Saving Hope.
Orewa Lions have decided to defer a future event until later in the year but will be having some sausage sizzles in the near future to raise funds for the original charity, Coast Pet Care, for their freezing and microchipping program.

Good news - Orewa Lions Hot Diggety Dog Show is being planned for the 2021 spring. Thanks to everyone involved in redirecting donated Chunky and Possyum dog food. We look forward to working with everyone to get the rescheduled show on the road!

Make sure you run along to register from 9am and Competition & Doggie games commence 10am this Sunday 11 April at Western Reserve, Orewa.

Categories include :- Best Puppy – less than 12 months; Looks most like owner; Best Dressed; Best Senior – over 7 years; Best Rescue hound; Dog the judges would most like to take home; Best tricks
Best in Show.
Special show registration discount includes registration, goodie bag & entry to 3 classes for just $15. Proceeds go to Coast Pet Care – De-sexing & micro-chipping programme.

Take a look at members of Hibiscus Coast Dog Training Club and Dog Almighty contestant Gareth & Ivy showing off their skills. Lions Club can't wait to greet them at the Orewa Lions Hot Diggety Dog Show on 11 April held at their club grounds on Western Reserve Orewa. Hibiscus Coast Dog Training Club has been established since 1987 and provides dog obedience and agility training to the Auckland region. Don't miss their display at the event. Make sure you share the event with your pooch loving contacts as it will be a great day out for everyone.
