It’s ya boy Squid 🦑 and I have decided it’s time you all appreciated just how spectacular I am. 😎

Now, I’ve been told I have selective hearing… but honestly, I prefer to call it “choosing when the information is relevant to me.” 😂

I hear you.
I understand you.
I simply choose whether your request fits into my schedule. 🤷‍♂️🤣

But don’t let my cheeky side fool you — I’m actually a super clever boy who has been learning heaps since coming into rescue. 🧠💙

And let me tell you… I’m turning into one seriously awesome little dude!

🧸 Highland cow toy = MY CHILD. Nobody touch it.
🧸 Squeaky toys = absolutely YES.
💤 Crate at night = 5-star accommodation. I sleep like a champion.
🥰 Snuggles = mandatory. I don’t make the rules.
🐱 Cats = FRIENDS!
👧👦 Kids = FUN!
🏃 Adventures = SIGN ME UP!
🤸 Forward rolling off the couch = Olympic-level talent. I’ve perfected the technique. 😂

I’m basically part athlete, part comedian, part professional snuggler and 100% handsome. 😏

My foster mum thinks I might be a Greyhound x Cattle Dog, which would explain why I’m clever, athletic, loyal and occasionally… slightly ridiculous. 😂

I’m looking for an active family who will keep my brain busy, let me have adventures, teach me cool things and, most importantly, understand that sometimes I may simply choose not to hear you. 😇🤣

Underneath all my goofy antics, I’m a loving, affectionate and genuinely awesome boy who just wants a family of my very own. 💙

Our handsome Romeo is still waiting patiently for someone to come along and say, “Yep… THAT’S MY BOY.” 🥹🏡💙

And honestly, they’re missing out on one pretty incredible pup!

Romeo has been working super hard on his lead training this week, and we are SO proud of him! 👏🐾 His pulling is now down to a minimal level, and he’s learning how to walk nicely with patience, consistency and encouragement. 🎓💙

But apart from that… he’s still very much ROMEO! 😂

Okay, so… my life didn’t exactly get off to the best start. 😔💔

I was found dumped with my siblings, which was pretty rubbish… BUT I’ve decided I’m far too busy being cute, happy and fabulous to let that bother me! 😌💅🐾

🎂 I’m about 3.5 months old
📍 I’m hanging out in Papamoa
📏 I’m expected to grow into a medium-sized girl

And I have a VERY important announcement…

MY BROTHER FOUND HIS FOREVER FAMILY… AND I’M STILL WAITING! 🥺💔

Rude, right?! 😂🩷

But don’t worry — I’m keeping myself very busy being absolutely adorable while I wait for my special humans to find me. 🥰🐾

🌸 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME… 🌸

I’m a delicate wee flower. 🌷 I’m super sweet, gentle, loving and affectionate.

Honestly, I’m basically a retired old lady trapped inside a puppy body! 😂

I LOVE having a good run around and playing with everyone… 🏃‍♀️💨🐶

…but after a little while I’m like:

“Okay, that’s enough excitement. Someone please bring me my bed and let’s have cuddles.” 😌🛏️💕

While all the other puppies are still bouncing off the walls, I’m already curled up having a well-deserved rest. 😂

I LOVE a proper comfy bed at night.

A luxurious bed.

And between you and me… I don’t think I’m planning on going back to sleeping in a crate anytime soon. 🙄😂

These three have been absolutely acing their toilet training AND crate training — clever little cookies already! 👏🐾
And while they may look similar, each one has their own wonderfully unique personality…

The sweet soul of the crew! 🥹
Soul has a gorgeous, easy-going personality. He’s sweet, cuddly and playful, but he’s also perfectly happy doing his own thing. He’s a clever boy who enjoys a good play, a good cuddle and then happily settles into his own little world. ❤️

💚 GEORGE 💚
BIG personality… and an even BIGGER love for company! 😍
George absolutely loves being around people and wants to know what everyone is up to. He’s got plenty of that classic puppy energy and is happiest when he’s included in the action. If you’re looking for a little shadow who will happily keep you company, George might just be your boy! 🥰🐾

💛 SAM 💛
Our super playful, incredibly curious adventurer! 🌎🐶
Sam thinks absolutely everything deserves investigating! 👀😂 He loves exploring, is always up for an adventure and is a BIG fan of food — which should make training a whole lot of fun! 🥓🤣 Clever, curious and full of puppy fun, Sam is ready to discover the world with his forever family.

🐾💕 Hi everyone! I’m Brea! 💕🐾

🎂 12 weeks old
📍 Whakatāne

Hi hoomans! 👋🥰 I’m Brea, and I’m a very clever little girl with a BIG personality packed into my tiny puppy body! 🐶💕

I’ve been told I have the sweetest little terrier eyes, and apparently they make it very hard for people to resist me. 👀🥹❤️

🧠 I’m also VERY clever! I love figuring things out for myself. I’ve even worked out how to rearrange my puppy fencing when I decide I’d like a little change of scenery. 😂 What can I say… I like to keep everyone on their toes!

I’m doing really well with my puppy pads too, so I’m definitely getting the hang of this whole “being a good girl” thing. 🥰

I’m a little more energetic than my brother, and I LOVE having a good play, but once I’ve finished zooming around, I’m more than happy to settle down for cuddles. 💕 My favourite place is probably right in your arms getting all the love and attention. 🥹

I can be a little cautious when I first meet new people. I just like to take my time and make sure you’re trustworthy! But once I decide you’re one of my people… well, prepare yourself for ALL the cuddles. ❤️🐾

I’m clever, gentle, affectionate, playful and just a little bit cheeky. 😇😂

🐾❤️ MEET THE ELLIOT, WHETU, YOGI & HICCUP CREW! ❤️🐾

These four gorgeous little characters are part of our super cute litter who came into Opo Pups Dog Rescue looking for their forever families. 🥰

They are now around 10 weeks old, and they are exactly what you’d expect from puppies — playful, cuddly, curious and always ready for their next adventure!

Their mum is a medium-sized Huntaway cross, while Dad is unknown, so we can't say exactly how big these little ones will grow.

✨ ELLIOT
Our adventurous little man! Elliot is playful, affectionate and absolutely loves his cuddles. He’s also a bit of an adventurer and thinks quad bike rides are pretty awesome! 🚜❤️ He is good with cats and has a cute little guard-dog streak, letting you know when someone is outside the gate. He is doing really well with his crate routine and settling beautifully overnight.

✨ WHETU
Sweet little Whetu is an absolute cuddle bug. 🥰 She loves snuggles, belly scratches and plenty of attention. She’s playful and affectionate and has that gorgeous puppy personality that will have you falling in love very quickly!

✨ YOGI
Yogi is one of our energetic little characters! 🐾 He’s playful, curious and always keen to get amongst the action. He has already had his first vaccination and is ready to find a family who can give him all the love, guidance and adventures a growing puppy needs.

✨ HICCUP
Our gorgeous little Hiccup is another member of this adorable crew. ❤️ Like his siblings, he is growing into a happy, playful puppy who is ready to start his next chapter with a family of his own.

All four have had their first vaccination, microchip and are up to date with flea and worm treatments.

These babies are looking for families who understand that puppies are adorable little bundles of chaos — they need patience, training, consistency, lots of love and plenty of time to grow into the amazing dogs we know they can be. 🐶❤️
